The rumors are true. It seems that Brad Pitt is more than a great actor and a pretty face — he also knows quite a bit about architecture, as proved by his modernist masterpiece nestled high in the Hollywood Hills. Beautifully simple and exuding a zen-like calm — it’s a compelling space even before you find out that it’s home to Hollywood star Brad Pitt. The fact that he also had a hand in creating it merely adds to the appeal. "The most important thing I learned with this house is you have to let go of a lot of great ideas for the sake of harmony… I love that architecture is this huge art piece you can be inside. I believe it lifts your soul and affects your mindset," says Brad. Here’s a little dictionary definition of architecture- (noun) BUILDING DESIGN: "the art and science of designing and constructing buildings."; BUILDING STYLE: "a particular style or fashion of building, especially one that is typical of a period of history or of a particular place."Definition of Interior Design-(noun): "the art or process of planning the decoration and furnishings of a room or building." That said, I love the LOOK of this house inside and out. The STYLE makes me envious–SO MUCH SPACE! I live in a cramped piece of crap that has me crawling up the walls to get to the ceiling so I can breathe! That’s the only thing go where I live– a high ceiling.Given time & thought… BOTH Brad & Angie will get the DECORATING of the INTERIOR done with the KIDS’ SAFETY their #1 PRIORITY!! Including CHILD_PROOFING!!
Modern is not my thing, but I can appreciate the clean lines and spaciousness that Brad developed. And hey, when Frank Lloyd Wright started out, his homes were mocked and now they are considered ultimate icons in home architecture–so who knows what people will say about Brad and his homes 50-100 years from now! He and Angie like it, so they are the ones living there and that is all that counts! Certainly in my mind, much better than the pictures I saw of what Britney spears did to her home!

while i was running errands i picked up newsweek. the article says "Not long before Shiloh was born, Pitt adopted Jolie’s son, Maddox…and her daughter Zahara…" so does this mean that the adoption is final? and, if it is–isn’t it curious how quickly it happened?
# 126-BRILLIANT!!!!I think that the key is "Mediocrity". When Brad’s previous women were mediocre, mediocre people loved them. In his coupling with Angelina, there is no mediocrity at all-mediocre people can’t stand this. There is wisdom in well-worn sayings such as "Birds of a feather flock together" and "Misery loves company".

With Brad’s interest in Zen philosophy, he may also dabble in Feng Shui. Maybe he follows the rules of this arrangement in achieving order and harmony. Will need to get bigger pics so we can see.

Her flippant & clueless attitude is a big part of that marriage breaking up. Problems were there long berfore Angelina .I’m sure the story on Brad for Elle Decor was completed at least 4 months ago for it to come out this month. Magazines, like television have deadlines they have to meet.I have been telling everyone that with films & other projects cming up in the fall & winter, Angelina & Brad have been WORKING during their travels. They have not been on "vacation" IMO.They have been conducting interviews, photoshoots, makeing business deals etc, while away. That Esquire magazine that Brad is supposed to be in October’s issue would have conducted any interviews and photoshoots by this past May. Any interviews & photoshoots, for The good Shepard (Dec) would have to have taken place by the beginning of July

I don’t think Gwyneth Paltrow is at all mediocre — those of you who have that opinion should all be as mediocre as she. It was known that she dumped Brad because he was ‘not so bright’ and that’s why Aniston also was hesitant to marry him initially.
To all interested parties…The PT/Agniezska feud has been resolved to both or our satisfaction. She now knows that I’m not the one posting the digs at her and we’ve agreed to drop the matter. So, in the interest of blog harmony we will be giving each other a wide berth.

# 126 | me Absolutely brilliant post. People want to make these two out as the bad guys, but in reality - Brad has always been a one woman kind of guy. He wanted things to work with JA, but the haters always forget - SHE is the one who filed for divorce. If Brad was cheating on her do you think they would have gone on that final New Year’s Vacation with Courtney and David kissing each other on the beach. It was a final trip to put a closure on their relationship. Brad moved on with his life. He was separated, so there was nothing wrong with him moving on with someone else. He’s not getting any younger and sometimes things just happen in life. When you are 41 you don’t play games, sometimes you just know when something is right and meant to be. Angie has given Brad everything that he has been saying for years he wanted. He didn’t want to play the field (cause God knows he could have) he wanted to settle down and start a new phase of his life. I remember when he married Jen I cried at reading the news. But with Angie, I’m thrilled that they are together because you know deep down that Brad is totally at peace and happy. Just seeing him holding Shiloh in that photo you know the man is just where he wants to be. I think that they make perfect sense and each bring out the best in each other. I was never a huge AJ fan before until she hooked up with Brad to do MAMS - but I know in articles she has said that she wasn’t looking for a man after BBT, but if someone came along who was good to her kids, that would be it for her. Maddox was her main concern. She had a bad rep, but you know what it is possible for people to change. I just wish we’d get to see more of the kinds of photos that Jared had to pull the other day. The two of them, happy and in love because they shouldn’t be afraid to show that to the world. I know they want to keep it for themselves, but we know that they are. But the haters just can’t let it lie and us BAMZS fans should just ignore them. That would be the best thing we can do, just pretend their posts don’t exist.p.s. "Pretend safety concerners" go away. They said he paid a fortune child proofing Malibu house. Don’t worry he will get an idea about white stuff. A product named Soft Scrub will be his best friend, as I am now with our kids and walls LOL Malibumom:X fans and haters are still changing "cheater" because X propagated it in VF as you said. Out of pride, hurt ego, (that she was so quickly replaced), regret (that she lost her A-list status) playing sympathy card, all of it probably. The haters identify with her "suffering" so much so that GQ will make her undeservingly the "Woman of the Year". This mediocre woman became the champion of mediocre women everywhere.
