A salesman faces trial for forging a labour card by pasting Hollywood actor Brad Pitt’s photo on it and an Arabic name.
The 29-year-old Jordanian, T.H., said he did not know whose photo it was he had downloaded from the internet. The Dubai Public Prosecution charged him with forgery, using a fake document and trying to embezzle Dh82,600 from a money exchange house in collaboration with his brother H.H., who works there as a teller.
An informant told police that T.H. was planning to collect the money in collaboration with his brother. Police arrested T.H. from a mall in Ghusais. In his statement to the police, he said his brother had informed him about the money which had not been collected. He confessed that he forged the card with Brad Pitt’s picture from a website.
A website, eh? Do you think T.H. took Brad Pitt’s picture from JustJared.com? I betcha he did. I betcha! I betcha! I betcha! And yes, Brad Pitt’s Driver’s License is a total fake if the name "Usama Bin Mohammed Bin Laden" printed on the card didn’t give it away… Thanks to Grace for the heads up!

Like Joan Rivers, Leona Hensley, and their ilk, they think that they are still top dog. As a matter of fact, all three women have used their men as a crutch… Cindy used to name-drop her husband all the time, Joan used her husband, Edgar, often in her act. Both women’s husbands are dead… meal-ticket is gone. Leona… I can’t speak about her because I really don’t remember the role her husband played, but seems to me that another purpose these men served were to convince the masses that, once upon a time, these women were wanted.I read the transcript and she lamented that she doesn’t understand why people are fascinated with the celebs. Um… celebs were her bread and butter for years. What the hell is she talking about? And remember, this chick’s career high was being a regular on a Current Affair with MAURY POVICH and GERALDO…. this was back in the 80s & 90’s. She’s 15-20 years past any relevance, as are the strong women she highlighted on Larry King.It is clear that she can’t relate to AJ on any level. If AJ walks ahead of BP, maybe it has something to do with BP being courteous and/or which child AJ or BP are walking/interacting with. BP isn’t Maris Craneing-it, unlike her and her strong women cronies’s husbands.

It’s one thing for the tabs to write things like that but someone on CNN with Larry King? It was uncalled for but now I know the type of "expert" she is, I understand where to shove her "opinions".The truth is I have no idea who she is….thought she was someone of importance. Do you remember some years ago, I think it was Los Angeles wanted to make "Ebonics" and official "language" so that Black kids could qualify for English as a Second Language? I’m sorry to say that in this day and age, I think heavily accented language counts against a person. Area differences not so much. I worked with a teacher from PA who said "warsh" for "wash" and it drove me nuts - but that was her only real language "tic". Here in Central NY, they tend to use a broad "a" so that "dad" is "daed". I’m from NJ originally, and I’m always getting the "you don’t sound like you come from ‘Joisey’. Well, no one I knew talked like that!! Additionally, I think some accents are tolerated more than others. The broad "Bahston" sounds "educated" so people don’t seem to mind it so much. [I had a friend in college from Boston, and he really DID say "pahk the cah in Hahvahd Yahd"! lol] My daughter INSISTS I say "wuder" instead of "water" and that my whole family does! lol I can’t hear it myself.I agree that TV can be a great help in "standardizing" one’s speech. I think it takes work though.It’s not just language, though, spelling counts a LOT. My dad used to be the president of a company, and one of his MAJOR complaints about his OFFICE workers was that they only seemed to know 2 ways of spelling "to" "too" "two". EVERYONE mis-spells sometimes, but, honestly, the homophones should be learned and then used correctly.I wonder if this falls under the same umbrella as nondiscrimination in the EEOC federal guidelines.. hmm. I tend to doubt it. Really good convo’s in here. # 958 | Original Curious l I really think an addictive personality/thinking on JA’s part, unbeknowst to herself…..to a trained eye is very obvious. Can’t tell you how many times I have seen it in my work with woman, who feel their families suffer because of some"THING" their husbands/partners are out "chasing". They experience all theemotions of a women who are being "cheated on" by a husband with a lover. Addictive psychology is a subject I have learned is not just about drugs or alcohol. It can be money, career, power, food, sex. We already know JA has an addictive personality with her physical self…….tanning, exercise, smoking, HAIR. It only seems a natural course of logic that she would think the same about her career. For the spouse or partner it can be awful and isolating. We all see that Angelina is not an addictive thinker. To me she is from the school of thought of using tools of thinking for the "betterment of living".l PT l Thank Goodness that Brad had that upbringing of a southern dialect because he so nailed his 17 minutes in Thelma & Louise that was the turning point of his career. I really do have 2 sides to me that are completely, contradictory/ different yet equal.When I read the VOGUE comments, I instantly thought that it was one of our posters but the first comment was made by an indian-like name, Prakash or something like that. If its one of us, then its OK to come out of hiding, yet I think MANY people think exactly the way we do, they can see through the shallowness, yet have probably never been on a blog.

# 941 | Passing Through i can relate to that…i work for a big public university and that’s how they also do it here…esp. now it’s fiscal close…they need to spend all their money because the state/foundations will reduce their funding the next fiscal year…they buy new computers/laptops or pdas for senior management or give incentive awards or increase compensation to themselves…it is so sickening when you see all these happenings around you at work while us…the lower level employees survive month to month with our monthly salary….and these moneys are from taxpayer money…..
On top of that they take the money and go on free trips in order to say they were at an annual meeting or whatever-when employees are stretching every dollar to make ends meet! I used to arrange these trips to the so call meetings where they looked at each other’s posters and heard stupid lectures on the suposed research they were doing-Then they spent the next couple of days getting sloppy drunk-Oh yeah they would bring all their little buddies from over seas on grants and fellowships in order that they put their names as second adn third authors on scientific papers-The more U invite the more published you become-the more grants u get! Angelina remarked that she made stupid money-NO! These ppl are the ones who make STUPID money-Even worse-You can get anything you want as long as you scratch your head when it doesn’t itch-dance when there is no music playing-and show all of your teeth when nothing is funny*****-Malibumom
