Los Angeles, CA :: Jennifer Aniston was spotted having brunch with her best friends earlier this weekend at cozy, boutique Italian restaurant Il Sole located at 8741 W Sunset Blvd. Jen, 37, typically wears a five-band ring (one band for each of her five best friends) on her left middle finger (the hand on the driver’s wheel pictured above). Jennifer Aniston Everyone rooted against her. It was actually very fascinating. But on June 2, Jennifer Aniston’s career was over according to the experts. The critics didn’t like her new movie "The Break Up," and the wise guys said that after such unimpressive projects as "Derailed" and "Rumor Has It," Jennifer Aniston was going back to television. I have to admit, I was pretty much leaning in that direction, too. But now, one month and two days after "The Break Up" hit theaters, Jennifer Aniston is a hit. "The Break Up," which cost $52 million to make, has taken in over $110 million domestically. Add to that another $17 million worldwide, and The Break Up comes out as a huge hit. And that’s not all: "The Break Up" is still out there in nearly 2,000 theatres. It did $3 million over the weekend. Money is still coming in, and the DVD sale should be a knockout. All of this is great news for Universal, which in three weeks will have to deal with the overblown "Miami Vice." The latter film is a potential disaster, while "The Break Up" turns out to be a pleasant surprise. So, if the reviews were not so good, what did it? Was it Jennifer Aniston’s role in the Brangelina saga as the scorned ex wife? Possibly. But Aniston also has the advantage of lots of good will from “Friends.” She also has an unlikely, and still unacknowledged relationship with co-star Vince Vaughn, a popular comic actor who was available for off screen publicity the minute Aniston became available. It was all good. I kind of like the idea of Jennifer Aniston getting the last laugh. Brad Pitt certainly tried to make a fool of her, and it didn’t work. The “Friends” curse threatened to do her in, but she overcame it. Now she has three projects announced, and all of them look interesting. She could easily have a career similar to Sandra Bullock, mixing romantic comedies with earnest dramas. Things could be a lot worse. At least she doesn’t have to play a character from a video game. Or give birth in Namibia.

Be Sane - are you married? My husband jokingly says he has to leave the house when I have a "hen party", but he loves the fact that I have my friends over. And he likes all of them, and they like him. Seems healthy to me. You brangelians like to take any small phrase and twist it into something negative when it comes to JA/Brad. Haven’t you read what he said to Diane Sawyer shortly after they separated?He was still calling her "my Jen". Please stop being childish.

I am almost 50 and I meet up with different friends for lunch at least once or twice a month. You are struggling to belittle Jen Aniston if this is all you have to criticize her for since, if anything, it is good to have some deep and lasting friendships. Good for you Jen!

I am not an Angelina/Brad fan, so I try not to comment on thier blogs, so I really don’t understand why BAMZS fans feel compelled to come on here and spew thier hate, I hardly think that Brad left Jen because she spent too much time with her friends, wouldn’t that make him extremely shallow?…I think Jen has moved on, and it seems to really bother the AJ fans..if you don’t like Jen STFU and go and praise Angie somewhere else…
#50 and #53I usually don’t post but this SCREAMS for a rebuttal. While it’s nice that aniston FINALLY has a hit, it was in no way due to her prowess an actress. Kate Hudson could have played that role and I would have liked the movie better if she had. Her "goodwill" from Friends didn’t extend to her other three movies, so her fan base didn’t make this movie a success either. What did?1 - placement in the movie release roster2 - Vince Vaughn3 - curiousity about her relationship with Vaughn4 - the divorceWhile I wish her no ill will…C’MON! She mediocre at best. And while I also think AJ’s choice in movie roles leaves a lot to be desired, by the time she played the video game character and gave birth in Namibia, she had won 3 Golden Globes, Oscar, SAG.

I just went back to check my post on Dlisted, and I don’t see anything horrible about what I said, it is my opinion that Angie and Brad will not stay together, and it was in response to a Jen put down…so what?

Well! I don’t think Brad thought she was beef jerky for the 7yrs they were together, and I don’t think the baby will keep them together, its only a matter of time before Angie throws him our or he leaves on his own…
Jolie got pregnant quickly because there’s nothing wrong with Brad. Aniston ruined herself after the abortion; she was doing drugs and didn’t want a baby. No wonder Brad left her.
He married her on he rebound because he wanted kids, and when she wouldn’t/couldn’t, he felt betrayed.
Brad could have gotten an annulment on grounds that JA wouldn’t have kids. But he wouldn’t do it because it would make her look so bad.
