Donovan dated the actress, who is now married to Brad Pitt, between 1995 and 1998 and admits the pair were totally different people. He says, "She likes top-notch hotels and luxury, and I like bed and breakfasts and riding my bike. That’s the most shallow version of it, but it’s indicative of our personalities." Donovan, who also dated Sandra Bullock in the 1990s, tells America’s In Touch magazine that the break-up was "really, really painful, but it wasn’t working. We had to do it." He reveals the pair were close to splitting when he had a guest slot on Friends in 1997. He adds, "We were fighting. We were already breaking up. Our split didn’t happen suddenly."

I think JA is a fake and bake… and it is funny how some people like what they don’t know. Interesting! She was so irritating in Friends… I couldn’t stand her or Lisa Kudrow!!!

I think that she’s found her way through the BS that has gone down in the last couple of years and I admire her for it. She was on fire in the last photo shoot she did for Harper’s Bazaar. Simply glowing with happiness.

If she and VV break up, it will be all Vince’s fault. Just like it was all Brad’s fault, and the producers and directors’ faults that various movies she was in flopped (hey Jen, you cashed the checks!).
