Her mother is Iroqois Indian and she and Jamie was raise in that culture too. The whole family, including Jon Voight at one time, are activists in Native American rights and are very active in Charities addressing Native American issues.This goes back decades and not something that just came up. I remember in the 1970’s when Jon and Marcheline were talking about the poverty at the Indian reservations and the issues that needed to be addressed and I still see Marcheline, Jamie and Angie as a family still working on these issues.So I was not surprised when Angie took up the plight of the San People in Africa and the plight they’re having being pushed off their land and sent to live in reservations. Angie used the term tibal people and I think she indentifies with them very much. I’m very interested in how she going to address the San’s issues…will she use her Native American experience and bring in some experts in the Native American field to help her. That’s why I find it very interesting to see some people trying to put Angie in a box to undermind her intellect and achievements as empty like smoke. But she wouldn’t be this successful if she didn’t bring the goods.Brad Pitt fascinates me because he’s also a man of depth that doesn’t like people knowing it. Still waters run deep with this guy…and i would not be surprise if Cheerokee run in the family…family from Okalohoma.My family is from Texas and I know we’re have Cherokee in my family…African American and Cherokee. My mother family were sharecroppers…farmers and Native American Indians…until the 1940’s when my mother and siblings came west for work.
