Chris Daughtry signs record deal

I guess coming in fourth place can mean something good. Chris Daughtry of most recent American Idol fame has just signed a record deal with Clive Davis and Simon Fuller to release music on 19 Recordings Unlimited. There are no details yet as to what his contract requires or how many CDs he’s set to release, but you can be sure that you’ll be hearing the same rock-boy antics that made him famous on American Idol.

I am "so" happy for him and his family he "so" deserves this ! I can see him on the same level or even"better" in sales as Kelly Clarkson!! I can’t wait for his first album!! Best of luck to Chris and his wife and kids!! :o)

It couldn’t have happened to a more deserving guy!!! Chris is so talented and so incredibly sexy!!…this guy is smokin’ hot!! I’m sure he’ll do well in record sales too. His wife and kids must be so proud of him! I know that i am. Huge congrats Chris! You rock baby!!

Chris blew it when he rejected Fuel. 19E is the last resort for idol contestants.
