Queen Latifah on Life Support
Queen Latifah stars in an HBO original movie entitled, Life Support. Here she is on location in New York filming for the movie.
Life Support centers around Ana Willis (Queen Latifah), a former crack addict who is HIV positive. Ana Willis overcomes her drug addiction and becomes a wife and mother who is dedicated to educating people in the black community about the HIV/AIDS epidemic and how they can protect themselves from being infected.
The movie is based on the true events of writer Nelson George’s sister and is executive produced by Jamie Foxx.

Shouldn’t this role require her to drop some weight?I doubt there’s any HIV crack addicts her size
dull dull, same old same old do this not that theme.. and yes, she should be much thinner and wan.
She should definitely be dying from eating too many cheeseburgers.
Umm…please learn about the disease b4 commenting on it. HIV does not make you thin until you are near death of it. Good example for some of you that may or may not have an idea - Magic Johnson - has HIV and is a big man. He lives with the disease and is not the pillar of sickness. As for her size she is a beautiful woman - she is taller than most and bigger as in "built" bigger than most but fat and sloppy she is not. As for crack addicts – this too is a stereo type…they come in all sizes as well. Do you not know that many doctors and lawyers are addicts as well as street people? All who are different sizes and shapes.
Come on now! Don’t be dog’n on Queenie! I think she’s a pretty good actress and I love her outlook and attitude on life. She seems to be a great person. I, for one would love to be her BFF! ShimmeringDew–I could not have said that better myself. Ignorance is not bliss people–open your eyes and get a clue.

She looks good, but am I the only one who misses her boobs? She looked better when she was stacked; it was her blessing.
For those of you that made those ignornant comments about having to be thin if you are HIV positive, think of all of the people you may have slept with that are infected. It is obvious you have much to learn. Sometimes it’s best to listen and not speak if you are knowledgeable on a topic. Remember, knowledge is power. Let’s not embarass ourselves.
this is a good darn movie so all of you who is hating on the Queen well you definitely have alot to learn. If it takes her to bring out the role of spreading the word on protecting yourself. considering that she is a beautiful young full figured women.
