Heroes on NBC

Big buzz is surrounding Heroes, which debuts this fall on Mondays at 9ET/PT. Heroes chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover that they possess extraordinary abilities. Here’s the cast (L2R, T2B): Masi Oka as Hiro Nakamura, Ali Larter as Niki Sanders, Noah Gray-Cabey as Micah Sanders, Leonard Roberts as D.L Hawkins, Milo Ventimiglia as Peter Petrelli, Adrian Pasdar as Nathan Petrelli, Hayden Panettiere as Claire Bennet, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Mohinder Suresh, Greg Grunberg as Matt Parkman, Santiago Cabrera as Isaac Mendez, and Tawny Cypress as Simone Deveraux.

As a total eclipse casts it shadow across the globe, we follow a genetics professor (Ramamurthy) in India whose father’s disappearance leads him to uncover a secret theory — there are people with super powers living among us. A young dreamer (Ventimiglia) tries to convince his politician brother (Pasdar) that he can fly. A high school cheerleader (Panettiere) learns that she is totally indestructible. A Las Vegas stripper (Larter), trying to make ends meet to support her young son (Gray-Cabey), uncovers that her mirror image has a secret. A prison inmate (Roberts) mysteriously finds himself waking up outside of his cell. A gifted artist (Cabrera), whose drug addiction is destroying his life and the relationship with his girlfriend (Cypress), can paint the future. A down-on-his-luck Los Angeles beat cop (Grunberg) can hear peoples’ thoughts, which puts him on the trail of an elusive serial killer. In Japan, a young man (Oka) develops a way to stop time through sheer will power. More promos in the gallery!

Thank U soooo much Jared for posting this……I’m a huge Milo Ventimiglia fan, he’s so charismatic on screen, and I love these sci-fi mythological mystry type series, like X files(showing my age), and Lost……………This one looks great, especially the trailer on the nbc site…..the international feel is realistic, and the solar eclipse being behind their powers is an ingenious ideaYep - I see what you mean about the ring/eclipse logo……..eerie!

Save to NBC? NO way.I saw pilot. It’s really Boring.Especially last scene. His Big brother’s Flying scene is really Suck.lolI can’t stop laughing!It’s suck and boring and so much typical.And Looks like Lost and mix X-men. (but Not Good thing Only Mixing Bad Boring Things)Trust me.It’s really suck.lol

Milo V. has been in a lot TV shows already & most of them doesnt help to boost his career or just went flop i.e. Bedford Diaries. His was only quite remember as one of the cast of Gilmore Girls & thats it. I dunno if Heroes can pull him up this time…

I also saw the pilot, and while it is quite slow, it shows a lot of promise. For the show to work it really needs to have more action. There were too many characters introduced in the pilot - although not all of them - and while each story was interesting it would’ve been nicer to concentrate on fewer people but giving more details of what’s going on in their lives and how it’s changing them.Watching it was like playing a game of "what was he in?" I can’t find the full credits anywhere to see if Jack Coleman is the dad of Hayden Panettiere’s Claire Bennet/the mysterious agent. Does anyone else know?I’m looking forward to this being a full series, however, I think NBC should tinker around with the pilot if they really want to grab a lot of viewers. There were several times I would’ve changed the channel if I’d been watching on TV.
