Baby Shiloh: WAX FIGURE

Baby Shiloh’s wax figure was unveiled today at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in New York City. Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, is the museum’s first-ever wax infant replica. For every Pitt-Jolie family photo that visitors buy, Madame Tussauds will give $1 to UNICEF. Bigger pictures in the gallery!

The people at Madame Trussaud’s know this is not right and so they are trying to cover up the fact that they are exploiting a baby by donating one dollare from every picture they sell. # 48 | yup———————–I really don’t see it as much different that AJ/BP putting on the cover of People and calling it "for charity". The museum wouldn’t even have a likeness to go by if the J-P’s hadn’t already put their baby "out there"…also for charity.

These figures are so disproportioned, its crazy…if they didn’t say that Skater-boy-wannabe looking guy behind Angie was Brad, I never would have known it was him. Trying to put Angie in wax is undoable, it is impossible to capture the beauty of this woman in any form other than video or a picture…and seeing her in person is still probably a hundred times better…Maddam Tussad’s designers are wack!

This is toooo funny!! Love how the baby is pictured both in the arms and the bassinet. And great wardrobe choice for AJ — honkin’ pearls with the tat darkened up and Brad all urbaned out. Too funny. It really catches the freak show element. Claaasssyyyy!

# 78 If they didn’t show Shiloh’s pics the papz would hound them even more. Every celeb shows their kids off. If they did the same thing, there is nothing wrong with that. But I would feel wrong if they did the same think Rachel Wiez’s kid or even Kingston. I just think its not right to make a wax figure of a baby. And Rachel and Gweynth also had a magazine cover for their babies. Gweynth even dressed her son in clothes from her fashion line, now that’s more like exploitation, but a completely different topic, so I won’t get started on that.

i don’t like this waxed figurines at all….they look creepy….though shiloh is cute and looks too real…however, this musem is an opportunist….$1 for the UNICEF???….charity my ass…

I guess this answered my question, this is from MSNBCMadame Tussauds says it doesn’t need a star’s permission before it makes a likeness as a wax figure. Artists based the baby’s looks on pictures the couple sold to People magazine for charity.

I don’t have a problem with wax figures, they’re just life-size works of art. But I agree that these aren’t done very well, you’d expect much more from the museum’s reputation.What upsets me is that they are toting the three as the ‘Jolie-Pitt family’ as though the first two children don’t matter. Biology does not automatically make a family, and there was a happy family of 4 before Shiloh. To ignore Madd and Z when they only took a few months to make and unveil baby Shiloh is an affront to the family. I wouldn’t pay to see this exhibit just on that principle.
