Babel Movie Stills: Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett
Brad Pitt has committed to star in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button about a man who hits age 50 and begins aging backward. Complications ensue when he falls in love with a woman of 30. Button will likely start production late Fall 2006.
Brad is also considering Universal’s "State of Play," the Americanized adaptation of the acclaimed British miniseries which Matthew Carnahan is writing. Brad is interested in playing a journalist and former campaign manager of a fast-rising politician who unravels a murder conspiracy involving his former boss.

Good Morning…….Finally get a day off. l stef lI read the book as well and there is NO WAY JA could pull of a character like this, Especially with Mariane being pregnant when this atrocity happened to her husband. She has NO "Pool" to dip into for any of the emotionalism that Mariane experienced. She knew it too,which is why she said she felt she would have the right to deny the role. That would have been like Lucille Ball playingCicily Tyson. LOL!

Even I have to say that this movie looks darn good……..all the misunderstandings, and I really can relate to that.Brad seems to act as good as ever…keep it going man.

I’m want to see this movie. I use to love Brad Pitt and then became so-so about Brad Pitt around the time of the movie the Meet Joe Black. Then got back into him and then he did the Mexican…so went back to so-so with him. But hated the "Golden Couple" and his wife JAniston. She was so lame and I never got how she was the one to break out artist of Friends when Courtney and the other one were better actresses. When the ex did SNL and made such a point about how the media were so intrusive about the "pregnancy issue"…geesh I thought it strange at the time and I still do.

I cannot wait to see this movie! BP was never on my radar until he hooked up with the one and only AJ, so I’m only now getting into his older movies. Saw Legends of the Falls a few days ago, and he really surprised me, because you have to get past his gorgeous hunkness first, and then realized that he is really a fine actor. Anyway, as someone mentioned above, all his fans here at JJ should definitely try to go see it on opening weekend.
crybaby aniston: You should go back and rewatch the Mexican and Meet Joe Black. I will fully admit that Meet Joe Black was about 45 minutes too long, and it got pretty sappy at the end, but brad’s performance in it is so great. he barely says anything the whole movie but you know exactly what his character is thinking. just go back and rewatch it and check out his body language and how he moves. its great. except for fast forward through the scene where is is speaking in a jamacian accent, what was the director thinking? and the mexican is the same, i just made all my friends rewatch it, because they all said they hated it, i told them they just were looking at it too seriously, its all about the humor, everything is very tongue in check and sarcastic, we watched it again and they were rolling on the ground laughing. anyway, that’s my rant about the mexican and meet joe black. as for this movie i have been waiting for years for this movie (it completes the trilogy of movies by this screenwriter all based around a single event, a car crash, and how it changes peoples lives) i have loved the director/screenwriter/cinematographer since thier first movie together Amores Perros, which was also Gael Garcia’s first movie. If you liked 21 grams, or even if you didn’t go check this movie out. it is amazing. i can’t wait until october!
