I guess what I am driving at is that if she wasn’t pregnant, they could have waited for it to blow over. This was a baby and it was bound to become evident if she was pregnant or not. A couple of friends and I have discussed it at length and the general conclusion was that she probably told him she was pregnant and he got too excited and splilled the beans early, only to find out she wasn’t (maybe she thought she was pregnant), also this was during the Rachel Pregnancy plotline, which most people believe was done to accomodate her own real life pregnancy. Reese Witherspoon and Star magazine is different, they never interviewed her but There was an interview and I find it unlikely that a magazine would make such a huge error.

It saddeneds me especially because our president is a faithful friend to the fossil fuel industry and our corporate leaders are addicts of oil. This issue is not a possible "scenario" like a nuclear war,. Humans have never faced a civilization-scale challenge before…..so they brush it under the rug and hang on to denial. By the time the growing effects of this denial actually consumes our lives, it may be to late, We still have time RIGHT NOW to change, but not much.Environmentalism is an American invention, and has have made great strides in preserving out National Parks, rivers, lakes and have been a blueprint for other countries to preserve their forests and prairies. The Sierra Club and the Wilderness Society have had strong victories for instance, to preserve the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge from drilling. Angelina too has also supported Environmental preservation of Wildlife refuges as JJ so kindly brought to the blog.However, when it comes to global warming our environmentalism has failed. Despite 20 years of constant warnings American carbon emissions continue to grow, we don’t engage in the Kyoto Protocol,the one international effort to put controls on on carbon emissions. China is now up 67% from 1990-2004 in carbon emissions all a direct result of burning coal. What is happening is that the very fuels that made our countries RICH are the same fuels that will destroy us. Aren’t you glad you got me started on this again/ LOL.OK what can we do……..? At least find out if the people you are voting for are friends of the environment and not purely activists foreconomic growth. All economic growth means is greater fossil fuel use =GLOBAL WARMING. 10 years and it’ll be to late. We need AL Gore to run the Country!!!! His movie Inconvient Truth tell it all. Well, if not Al whoever he endorses.

I think that they were planning…… and with the Friends season were she was pregnant on the show….. I think Brad’s camp wanted to clarify that even though she would appear preggo on the sitcom that she wa not at the time. Obviously the article misquoted him.Added Pitt: "I believe in the concept of marriage and family and it’s always been my intention to take this step and build a life with someone."From that statement it sounds like he was never sure his wife would be that SOMEONE.

# 233 | Lurking Lurker—————————————-I think he asked for the retraction because the report said that HE (brad pitt) told the reporter the "news" but for what his camp later said Brad did have the interview with the reporter but NEVER said that X was pregnant…so in other words THEY PUT WORDS in his mouth…and since the "news" were NOT TRUE once it was noted that X wasn’t pregnant Brad would have looked like a liar…besides if he would have said it all sorts of gifts and perks would have been arriving at his door…so returning all that would have been a pain in the butt.just my take….

I wish her luck because she’s going to need it.JA was just plain stupid,why would you spend 10 years on a tv sitcom when you want a movie career?Even George C left ER after a few years to pursue film full-time.Name one tv actress that stayed on a show until she was almost 40 and goes on to have a oscar winning movie career?The only name that comes to mind is Helen Hunt and no one is exactly beating down her door now are they?Notice how everyone of the "friend’s" since leaving the show has pretty much flopped at a movie career.Why?They were type casted.This Jan will be 2 years since the "Golden couple" called it quits,I sincerely hope people will move on.
