Angelina Takes Shiloh for a Ride in Her Range Rover
Angelina Jolie took her two-month-old daugther Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt for a ride down the Pacific Coast Highway earlier this weekend. The mother-daughter duo cruised along in her Range Rover this past Friday but Brad, Maddox, and baby Zahara were out of sight for the car ride… More pictures in the gallery!

Oh - and thanks to AG too, I didn’t see yours when you posted last — wow! what a wonderful, eloquent post! I am always amazed at the consummate literacy of the BAMZS fans. Thanks hon! (((hugs!!))) I won’t hesitate to say that you nailed it — I personally have NO agenda, I don’t belong to any organized religion, and if I am a staunch anything - it’s a staunch advocate of free speech and civil rights of all people. Very obviously I’m a liberal - no surprise. My family - parents and granndparents were baptist, and methodist and catholic. I just get so tired of those people that flaunt themselves as these religious and ‘christian,’ entities, so blatantly and obviously being the exact opposite. It seems these public figures turn out to be the most sinful, war-mongering, unforgiving, and often times bigoted people amongst us.
I just don’t think she really wanted a child until very recently. # 665 | lylian++++++++++++++She wants a child now, because every actress in HW is having a child, and she would look bad if she says she doesn’t want one. But deep down inside, does she really want one? NO, pregnancy and child birth, not mentioning breastfeeding and sleepless nights, would ruin her figure for sure, and she knows that
Why let the truth ruin a good story?August 2, 2006FEW people expect the truth from the ever-swelling annals of celebrity reportage. You would have to be mightily foolish or very, very young to turn back the glossy covers of the weekly trash magazines in anticipation of acutely accurate facts about famous people. That’s the moreish fun of the tattle rags. When a gossip magazine trumpets the beefy "inside" details of a celebrity’s love tragedy, love tryst, suspected baby-bump or excessive plastic surgery gone horribly wrong, readers can’t wait. With a collective understanding of the less veracious side of celebrity gossip journals, they push their common sense and incredulity aside, lick their lips and settle down for a jolly good read of some pertly illustrated nonsense.Of late, however, the goss mags have been pushing the truth aspect of their reporting down new avenues. Increasingly, many now publish headline and cover quotes, complete with quotation marks, that were apparently uttered by certain famous people. The cover of this week’s New Idea features a picture of Katie Holmes, in her first public appearance since giving birth to her baby with Tom Cruise, and looking understandably plumpish. Below her face are the words, "Cruel Tom Says ‘I Don’t Want A Fat Bride"’.NW features a story about Tori Spelling, daughter of the late television and film producer Aaron Spelling, receiving only $1.4 million of her father’s $650 million estate after his death. The headline reads: "Devastated Tori: ‘I’m Broke!"’NW’s cover carries a large photograph of Angelina Jolie flashing a steely-eyed expression above the words, "Ange: ‘I’ve Stopped Sleeping With Brad’. Why Ange has kicked him out of the bedroom." Jolie has apparently pushed Pitt out of the boudoir because she "hates her post-baby body so much". She has also "considered having a tummy tuck and even liposuction".According to one source, Pitt reckons Jolie is also suffering wild mood swings, sudden crying spells, anxiety, irritability, disturbances in sleep and appetite, "but what troubles him most is that Ange has lost interest in him in the bedroom", says the source. What a guy!Neither of these stories features the celebrity actually uttering the headline quotes. Could the magazines, in a peculiar and indecipherable gesture, have chosen to include them only in the headline or cover? It certainly isn’t the case in NW’s two-page spread about the singer George Michael’s recent late-night rustle in the bushes of a public park. "Sex With George Was Fantastic", declared the unemployed van driver, Norman Kirtland, in the headline, and, indeed, Mr Kirtland goes on to happily, and graphically, describe his "mutual pleasuring" with Michael on an early July morning. The other quotes? All fibs. Delectable fibs that feed a never-sated nation of gossip readers, but fibs all the same.Lenny Ann Low
#680 nttAnd let’s not forget that JA isn’t a fan of adoption. Because in her own words, "It’s not me." By the look on her face, she seems to loathe it.
Hey Cliniqua, anytime, girl, I admire your hutzpah! (How’s that for a good yiddish word?) Anyhoo, I identify with you on the religion thing. I like to call myself a recovering Southern Baptist. I have been working for a number of years to deprogram my head off that ****. And funny thing is, I feel closer to God once I dumped all the dogma and doctrine that went along with that. I am too quick to get into religious debates, so I’ll just bite my tongue and sit on my hands. AG is right, how do you have an intelligent argument with someone whose ultimate argument is "Because God said so", and they’ll never be able to see past that until they are ready.Oh, and ntt, about jen and pregnancy ruining her bod…I guess she must have to work pretty hard to keep her figure, because pregnancy and breastfeeding have Angie looking better and better….but then again Angie’s beuty is effortless. I am sure that must be a relief to Brad, not to be with someone who takes hours to get ready to go somewhere. Angie just throws a few things in a bag, and she’s out the door and on the plane holding HIS hand (not somebody else’s)looking gor-GEE-ous!
Mag caught out by headlineJul 18, 2006 Popular women’s magazine Woman’s Day has been caught out misleading its readers with deceptive headlines on its covers.Woman’s Day wrongly indicated that both Jennifer Aniston and Posh Spice were pregnant without any facts to back up the claims. Inside the magazine was speculation from friends, but not one firm piece of evidence that either celeb was actually pregnant.Trina Stevens complained to the Press Council, who agreed the articles connected to the headlines presented only rumour and gossip."It’s a victory for truth, really. I’ve been overwhelmed by friends, family and colleagues who are absolutely rapt that someone’s actually made a stand and taken an effort to complain about this deliberately misleading practice" says Stevens. While women are still buying the magazines it seems they don’t trust them to be acurate or truthful, with one reader saying "what’s on the cover is never what’s inside. But I still buy them. I suppose it’s something to do, something to read, something to look forward to."Journalism academics say such lurid covers are devoted only to chasing the dollar.Jim Tully, head of Canterbury University’s mass communications and journalism course, says that being accurate is a hallmark of good journalism. In evidence given by Woman’s Day to the Press Council, the magazine claimed they didn’t intend to mislead anyone and that the Press Council’s finding would undermine freedom of expression and what they called the "fun and gentle escapism to be found in its pages".
# 684 | Tabloids Lie | - Thanks Tabloids Lies, that does not surprise me about Woman Day, the **** they comes up with is unbelievable, whole bunch of crap. I am glad that someone finally took a stand again them and exposed them for what they really are, which is IMO is trashy rag filled with lies

Yeah what fun it is to read about celebs being emotionally tortured and struggling with depression…I know I light up just seeing those headlines, don’t you guys??You know, the odd thing is - I’m almost positive if they went the other route, and wrote blissfully happy and positive stuff - they’d SELL MORE MAGS. I leave the negative BS on the shelf, and sometimes avoid looking at it…however, if these rags smartened up and started writing headlines like, ‘ 2 WEEKS after GIVING BIRTH to SHILOH, BRAD is CHASING ANGE AROUND the BOUDOIR.’ - Seriously, what woman isn’t gonna snatch that off the shelves?? A BRAD WALKS OUT story (for the 27th time apparently) — not so much. Earth to the rags/mags/tabs — ‘ESCAPISM,’ by it’s very nature has to be a FUN, a FUN PLACE to VISIT…Sorry but I don’t want to wallow in post partum depression and marital discord - I want the juicy fun stuff.
# 686 | CLINIQUA | - I hear you C. and I totally agree
Brad’s Busy Schedule Don’t ever say life slows down after age 40. Brad Pitt, who is somehow 42-years-old (but doesn’t look a day over 32), has locked up his shooting schedule for the next few months — and he’s a busy, busy boy. According to Variety, Pitt will segue from the currently in-production "Ocean’s Thirteen" to the long-in-development "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" for his "Se7en" director David Fincher. "Button" has Pitt playing a man who hits 50 and then begins aging backward. Complications ensue when he falls in love with a 30-year-old woman. The adaptation of the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel also reunites Pitt with Cate Blanchett. The two actors received rave reviews at this year’s Cannes Film Festival for their new drama "Babel," which opens in the United States this fall. Pitt had been attached to "Button" for some time, but his interest in another drama, "State of Play," is completely new. "Play" was originally an acclaimed British miniseries about a journalist and former campaign manager of a fast-rising politician who unravels a murder conspiracy involving his former boss. Pitt is interested in playing the conflicted ex-employee. In addition to his acting slate, Pitt is also set to produce "A Mighty Heart" for the mother of his newborn child, Angelina Jolie. Needless to say, moviegoers will see a lot of Pitt in the gossip rags and on the big screen in the next few years.
# 688 | tabloids | - Thanks tabloids for all the articles. It seems that Daddy Brad is going to be one busy man, but with all his busy schedule I believe that his family is his number one priority and he will be spending alot of time with them.
| #688 tabloids |Brad has three kids to support! LOL! And he is LOVING every minute of it!|#689 Alexanderina |ITA! Family is the number ONE priority with this man!
# 672 | Passing Through By all means. I think that’s exactly what was important to her… being Mrs. Pitt and having him cuffed and shackled to her.
You know if X does want to have kids now, I really question her motivation for getting pregnant. Is it for revenge or to prove everyone wrong , or is it because everyone is having a baby and now she is feeling the pressure. IF she does want kids now, I would feel very sorry for a child whose mom had him/her for reasons other than purely out of love of children and a feeling to be a mom.I don’t thinks she wants kids and the fact that she keeps repeating that she does worries me. If she feels pressured into having a child, what kind of life is that kid going to have knowing that their mom got pregnant because she didn’t want to look bad? She lied to Brad about wanting a baby for 7 years (*****!!!) and now she is lying to herself and the public. She makes me sick. That is not a woman who sounds like she wants to be a mother. Women like X make me sick!

It like when she said that she plan to have kids within the next year, well this is the next year and its almost over and I don’t see any baby, and then she went on Access Hollywood and when Nancy O’ Dell asked about that statement about having a baby this year, she was like "I was misquoted" oh please. She don’t want kids, because kids would mess up her lifestyle which includes: smoking, tequila and tanning and the endless pity parties with her girlfriends.
# 693 | CCCC Too many posts… I apologize. Not sure if it is the computer or me. Actually, I am a very impatient individual.
Angie looks great. As for x wanting children. I think if she really wanted one, she would have got pregnant by Brad. I don’t see x ever having children. Because of her lifestyle.Angie and Brad wanted kids. They are planning on having more. I admire them for the love, they have for all children.
# 695 | UGH I honestly don’t believe she will have a baby and I don’t believe she can be impregnated (my opinion). Most women by that age would have had a baby especially after being with a man for 7 years or so. Trust me, the biological clock starts clicking away at 30 and supposedly reaches a crescendo at 40. I think she probably knows that she cannot reproduce that easily and couldn’t keep up the facade.
Brad’s doing what comes naturally for a man whom for MOST of his adult life, has only needed to be concerned and consumed with HIMSELF (see his lat interview where he said he’s ’sick of me’ lol) — however, since leaving chin, and as Alexanderina pointed out, Brad has gone from a 1 person household to a 5 person household in less than 1 YEAR!! - he’s suddenly got 3 little ones and their futures to think of!! Talk about 0-60 in 3 seconds!! …so his drive as a provider, and as a man — whether you believe in those ingrained (be it environmental or otherwise) ideas or not, have most likely kicked in BIG TIME. I still think he’s less concerned with being a matinee idol than he is with being a formidable producer (with Ange, and in Hollywood…heh-heh ;-) who’s proud of the product that’s out there. Plus, I think when Brad knows what’s in the hopper and can get that squared away and scheduled - it’s much easier to live LIFE…like anything, it takes planning - and to me, it really seems as if Brad & Ange have sat down and taken stock of their options for the immediate and near future, and really planned TOGETHER what they were going to do and when…it seems as if they’re really working as a team, and a family.
# 677 | Alexanderina …ditto….i like MG and religion sucks….i believe in the good spirit not a religion made up by man…who wrote the bible or koran or torah??? man!! is it accurate and really comes from God/Allah?Yaweh??? don’t think so….these books are written by man with their own interpretation….so forget them….imo
i’m one of those rare breed liberal-minded christians. and i’ve made it point not to dive into the religion fray, but i just wanted to say that the Bible, Torah & Koran, while written by men, are ultimately stories about those men’s experiences with God and, i believe, should not be dismissed as fabrication. anyone who has a profound spiritual experience is often compelled to express and share it. how other people who hear about or read these experiences interpret them is entirely out of the original author’s hands–this is what leads to intolerance, fracturing and schisms and ultimately hypocrisy. every spiritual experience is valid and should be respected. what’s going on in the world right now is proof that we all need to put aside our differences, respect each other, embrace our diversity and work together for the common good.
