People think, oh it’s TIME to get married, or TIME to have kids — and it seems the main impetus, which is supposed to be this passion and love for another person who shares the same goals, is MISSING. Instead the ‘husband/groom,’ just becomes the conduit for what you think you should have or should have had by now. Many of us know this woman — she’s the same chick who at any point in the last decade would have gladly married any one of the 20+ guys she hooked up with, if they had popped the question. They are ALL interchangeable, and a means to the peer pressured end, be it ‘marriage,’ or ‘family,’ or both. Maniston is definitely this type. Angelina, not so much. I think Angie listens to her heart, and it had to be a big overwhelming love, passion and unselfishness for her to have not only found a father for her children, but to also have given birth. The way I look at it - that stuff should all be icing on the cake, after you get the cake - and the cake should already be enough. I think both she and Brad had come to that conclusion. Also justjared fan, you really need to read Brad’s interview w/ Ann over again - where he says, ‘by birth or adoption, it doesn’t matter, it’s all blood.’ So he’s not too concerned with a uterus either honey. I think for B&A, it just became a kind of ,’hey, why not.’

ITA that Liz Smith, Cindy Adams, TedC, the View group (except for that clueless young blond), and all others in any business related to show business know which side the bread is buttered on, and "who has the POWER in hollywood." They see how in demand the "POWER COUPLE" is. They will say something about Brad (and Angellina) so that they hook some readers and keep their jobs. That’s the way the world works. When you’re hot you’re hot. Brad and Angie are hot in any and all ways at this time. Plus they are trying to have a private life (silence is truly golden) and aren’t constantly running around in the public like some. The public is intrigued by mystery. Look at what is happening with TCruise. What films have been announced for TCruise? The stories appearing re TCruise are either "Does Suri exist?, or "TCruise will be forced to take a pay cut because his films aren’t pulling in enough money." Look at MGibson’s meltdown. LLohan appears to be headed for a burnout. Even ParisH is keeping a lower profile. Zipped lips are best (I can’t believe that I am agreeing with something GPal said). JA would have been better served by her publicist if she had just replied no comment like UThurman did. It might be that Brad is intent on working as much as possible for a short time but will cut back over the long term. Time will tell. He has always seemed to me to be in the RRedford mold, and RR is still working in films, but spends much of his time now on his environmental work. There were pixs of Angelina and Brad both driving that range rover before they went overseas. Brad has also been seen driving what looks like a Yukon suv, and a white truck, so maybe the range rover is primarily Angie’s. They need room for three carseats whatever they drive.
