Angelina Jolie: Airplane Flying Again
Angelina Jolie gets back in the pilot seat in Santa Monica on Friday. It’s the first time the new mom has made use of her private plane since giving birth to daughter Shiloh last month.

I’m watching O12 right now. I LOVE Brad, but why are they making O13?Regarding the ring issue? So what if he is not wearing that ring. ITA with dragonfly, this couple does not need any rings to show how much they love one another. Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh are the only symbols that Brad and Angie care about.

Hey CHM, I’ve got to confess, I’ve never seen any of the Ocean’s movies. I love the old one with the original Rat Pack, and since I wasn’t much of a Brad fan until recently, I didn’t see them. Why are you questioning O13? Is is because there isn’t that much story left to tell? Generally once you have made 2 sequels, the thrill is gone. Is that the case with Ocean’s?

yeah, even as a Brad fan, I have to say the last Ocean movie sucked, mainly because the story dragged and honesty there wasn’t much a story to begin with. It’s wasn’t really thrilling at all like the first one. And Julia Roberts playing Julia Roberts in Ocean’s 12??? Gimme a break. that sucked.
jjoyHey there, thanks for asking—yeah after dinner I collapsed with the kids around 8:30PM, leaving my kind hubby to clean the kitchen LOL. I woke up at 5 AM or something, only to find he cooked lentil and bacon soup! What a sweetheart :) He has been in my shoes collapsing with jetlag so he is taking a turn for me. I wonder if Brad cooks, or do they have a cook at home?I will try to stay up tonight a little longer… It’s so hot right now, above 100F in NYC—I don’t want to take the kids out even to the park… it says it will be still in high 90s in the evening! How is the bay area?

The last Ocean Movie sucked! I hope O13 doesn’t bomb. # 233 | ok ok, Julia Robert’s part in Oceans12 ruined the whole movie for me. I’m not a big Julia fan but she can be a good actress, for some reason I just hated the whole storyline they put in for her. I thought Brad was great, though. Any movies I have to look forward to with Brad in them is ok for me.
Well don’t worry, Oceans 13 has a different script writer than Oceans 12 had. SO just because you disliked O12, doesn’t mean you won’t like 013.

I’m not teaching college, but my students always enjoy biographies when we study culture and one I recommend is Black Elk Speaks. American Indian religions are so diverse, and the influence of Christianity in the southwestern regions is often integrated into a blend of layered expressions (as what is acceptable and respected in public mainstream, to what was forgotten and repressed.) I use the anacronym of 3G’s … God, Gold, and Glory. Pretty much explains the motivation of Euro settlement in the old west.Just a thought to jump in. Love to share those kind of ideas with other teachers cause I end up with better lessons from such discussions. As for Culture and Healthcare, are you going to present any ideas on the history of childbirth..since most people don’t realize that humans have only been using hospitals for the last 60 to 70 years. Not long considering we’ve survived 5 million years. Such a shift away from natural remedies. I think it started during the industrial revolution when cities became overcrowded and sanitation was poor. ANYway, so sorry to go on and on :)Good luck with your classes! oopss…Be Sane is here….okay…i am posting the same comments i made on the other thread….Hiya Be Sane….that hot in there!! whew…in our part of CA….the weather is good…cooler….are you near Central Park??? i really want to go back to New York again for another visit…..i didn’t really see all the interesting places over there…we are there for five days…..just the usual touristry area….manhattan, the two islands, and of course shopping….we didn’t even have enough time to watch a broadway show….my friend and i wanted to watch 42nd but tickets were sold out… they had some tickets available but the seats were almost to the back where it’s hard to see the stage….i might go there again for another visit next year….

Matt being the Naive one asks "Why not" and BP turns sharpely "Don’t you understand man! He is in love….in love and when that happens, everything else is second."Everyone oooohs. Outside, GC asks me.."What do you want to do first my love?"With a twinkle in my eyes I say…..Jeez, it’s so hot here…huh…excuse me ladies, I need a shower….on account of it being so hot…I mean heat…hot. It seems neighboring countries are bound to fight throughout history, although racially culturally speaking they share so much and in a way, they are practically very similar people! French/English/Germans, the middle-east, Japan/China/Korea, all similar situations. They go on fighting for centuries and the cycle of resentment is passed on as well, brewing more conflicts and wars for the next generations.
