OlderBrad Pitt: Ocean's 13 Set
Franchise producer Jerry Weintraub built the ultra-hip, private poker lounge ("The Ocean’s Club") just for his cast. "This was inspired by Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack," Weintraub said. "Guys that I hung around with all my life who made the original ‘Ocean’s 11.’ "
"This is our booze joint over here," Weintraub showed us. "It’s a great bar, real New York kind of bar, all the guys love it. This is my drink of choice, Grey Goose orange vodka, which I love. And we don’t drive after we drink. We have cars and drivers."
Jerry also showed us the lounge’s poker table, which is a favorite for Brad, George and Matt. "The guys all love to play poker," Weintraub said. "Brad liked this most of all. These are great chips that our executive producer had made for us. These are the Ocean’s chips."
Looks like Brad Pitt has a case of helmet hair on the set of his latest film Ocean’s Thirteen in Miracle Mile, Los Angeles. Who else is back as Danny Ocean’s (George Clooney) crew of crooks? Scott Caan, Casey Affleck, Don Cheadle, Al Pacino, Bernie Mac, and Matt Damon. More pictures in the gallery!

Oh wow — this has been one facinating evening - I have many commets to make having read everone’s thoughts - hope I can remember what I want to say! LOL It will probably be REAL stream consciousness-like….1)Re the discussion about the Orange Bowl — Brad went by himself and met up w/ Doug at the game DURING the vacation in Anguilla w/ Aniston/Cox/Arquette. I remember it well, because the vacation took place at the same time the separation news broke, and I was wondering at the time (and before I would come to know the REAL deal many moons later) if in fact they would eventually separate at all…because I was like, well gee…their may be no bad blood at all, which sometimes lends itself to reconciliation. But then, a week or so later the rags had come out and said that Brad left her in Angulla to party w/ his bro at the Orange Bowl (he’d jet back to them post-game apparently)…I said to myself - oh, they’re toast.2)Re Oscar weekend and Vegas? I think it happened. They were there together and at the same time — whether or not they hooked up in every sense of the word?? Well, I myself am going to nix that. I think probably Brad needed to see her (and sure, vice versa), but that he was the proactive one, and perhaps scheduled to meet on the pretense of talking about the ‘W’ shoot idea which would take place about a month later. I can’t recall the name of the photog who was there with Brad taking pics of him at the chicken ranch and in the desert (he’s very reknowned) - don’t know if it was the same guy who eventually did the W thing. But I still think they hadn’t ‘officially’ hooked up…and you know what I mean (ahem). They didn’t use Vegas to do that - but I do think talking about the photo shoot, and their promotional activities upcoming for MAMS gave Brad a damn good excuse to see his Angel. :-)3) Looking at that timeline, it appears some re-shoots took place in March of 05 as well - I used to think that whatever they may have shot then was it — but while listening to the commentary on the unrated DVD, Akiva says that the end marriage counselor session scene was the absolute LAST piece of film that they shot, and that they almost rushed it ‘wet’ to the theater - (MAMS premiered in June) — I believe (as discussed previously) that Brad & Angie had been together most likely since March/April at this point when they were shooting this scene - (who knows when it was actally shot - but I believe it was after the March 05 re-shoots someone listed) which is why the chemistry on film is even MORE palpable than usual here, and they look so sexually replete & giddy. LOL I’m one of the ones who think that by the time of the Showest thing, they still may not have ‘hooked up.’ I really do, think Angie was waiting for the filing. After March though - or after it happened…it was ON baby.4) Also, re the first DVD commentary - Liman and Kinsberg I believe are talking about when they screened the film for the first time for Brad — (I personally think AJ was with him then too), and they both were anxious to reveal that Brad came up to them and the first thing out of his mouth was, ‘There’s a lot of love in that movie.’ (They took this as a point of pride..that they had captured that aspect, and that the film was more than a summer action flick…and I think they also knew he meant more then that) — while I do think Brad meant that sure, I also think he meant a LOT more. That basically MAMS encapsulates Brad and Angies entire journey from friends, to friends who fell in love, to friends who became lovers - and who were and are in love. I’m betting that more than anything, is one reason why ol’ Liman has a piece of soon to be legendary film on his hands…it’s the birth of one of the greatest Hollywood Love Stories EVER…it’s up their w/ Burton & Taylor in Cleopatra, or Newman and Woodward in a Long Hot Summer…B&A have brought ‘Old Hollywood’ back w/ a vengeance…it used to be people would say, ‘they don’t make em’ like they used to,’ movies or movie stars…where the people who MADE the movies were even BIGGER in LIFE than any role they could encompass (someone said that’s the mark of a true Movie Star…their LIVES will always look way more interesting than any part they could ever play…it’s why Oliver Stone said of Angelina once (exact quote escapes me) she could lead armies, and nations ….it’s why we’ve been fascinated with Brad for more than 15 years…he’s like the sun, anything and anyone in close range will always get hotter than they are on their own. For once, he’s met another ‘SUN’ and that’s why they’re just blowing up the world. LOLAlso, can I just say I love the rag story about Brad pinning Shi’s pic to George’s dressing room door w/ the ‘AWWWWWW’ message scrawled across it, even though I think it’s total B.S. - LOLI was thinking of doing a fanfic where Brad has a single sister also in the biz, who enraptures George, and is the woman who finally takes him down. LOL But first, I will get to work on ‘No Cannes do!’ LOL

Wow, you guys steamroll through JJ! Love the timeline discussion. Fills in the holes of bits of patchwork I’d put to the back of my mind. What stood out to me was that Angie &BBT split only 4 months after adopting Madd. Gee, what kindof man would adopt a baby and then change his mind? No wonder Angie left his sorry ass.I totally understand why she was hesitant to allow another man into her life. Melts my heart to think that Brad is a true hero for Maddox, and that Ange is strong enough to be a fantasic single mom regardless of the past.Ok, sending outta shout to all my buds here, cause I gotta go back to work mananaaa…. I’ve been lurking but I have question re X’s friends. Is katherine Keener one of them? I always thought she was more of Brad’s friend and then later she was introduced to X. Did she switch over to team X because of her own divorce? Also, I remember that after Brad and X split up, there was picture of KK and Brad exiting a restaurant together, so apparantely they were on talking terms at one point, but are they still friends?
