OlderBrad Pitt: Ocean's 13 Set
Franchise producer Jerry Weintraub built the ultra-hip, private poker lounge ("The Ocean’s Club") just for his cast. "This was inspired by Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack," Weintraub said. "Guys that I hung around with all my life who made the original ‘Ocean’s 11.’ "
"This is our booze joint over here," Weintraub showed us. "It’s a great bar, real New York kind of bar, all the guys love it. This is my drink of choice, Grey Goose orange vodka, which I love. And we don’t drive after we drink. We have cars and drivers."
Jerry also showed us the lounge’s poker table, which is a favorite for Brad, George and Matt. "The guys all love to play poker," Weintraub said. "Brad liked this most of all. These are great chips that our executive producer had made for us. These are the Ocean’s chips."
Looks like Brad Pitt has a case of helmet hair on the set of his latest film Ocean’s Thirteen in Miracle Mile, Los Angeles. Who else is back as Danny Ocean’s (George Clooney) crew of crooks? Scott Caan, Casey Affleck, Don Cheadle, Al Pacino, Bernie Mac, and Matt Damon. More pictures in the gallery!

Maria, yeah I figured the connection to Angelina was through Guy R. I love BBC America! Ab Fab kills me! And I wish they would put the Monty Python reruns back on late night. Isn’t it amazing that TLC/Discovery have just ripped everything off of BBC? What Not To Wear, Changing Rooms, Bargain Hunt, Lif Laundry, all of it….and the BBC versions are so much better! I love those British phrases, they sound so oddly wonderful to my Southern ear. Wooly jumpers, flatpacks, cookers, naughty bits, all that kinda stuff has me going, "What’d they say?" LOL!

While surfing the TV last night, I just happened to tune in on an episode of Sex in the City where Carrie turns 35. She was freaking out because she was getting older, then was bummed when noone showed up for her b-day dinner and whining about not having a man in her life. She felt all alone and was not sure if there was such a thing as a soulmate.Well, her friends told her that they were the soulmates. I guess that meant they didn’t need a man to complete themselves. She was happy after that and happier still when Big showed up at the end.The point to this story is, the goddess circle seem to be emulating the NYC gals. I bet they watch the show and relate to it so much that all those lunches and sleepovers are like the real life version of the thing. I bet the X thinks of herself as the Carrie of the group and she’s got a certain someone pegged as Big.She can fool around with other guys, he can even marry another girl, but he always came back to her. The man may not be her soulmate, but she bags him in the end because that’s the way it has to be.So, how many Friends fans are Sex in the City fans?In syndication, they follow each other in programming. That could also explain why the X fans are so sure that she’ll get her guy back.Just a thought.
Dragonfly. Oh I adore AbFab. That Edina and Patsy just make me cry with laughing. Oh, I know about the TLC shows. I was watching ‘Changing Rooms’ before TLC came out with their show. Copy Cats! HA! HA! But, American TV has been doing that for years. Sanford & Son, The Cosby Show — all were copies from British Shows. If you want to see a hilarious show, you must try and find ‘Fools & Horses’. That show (which I have all on DVDs) is one funny show. You’ll probably have to get the DVDs, as it’s no longer on TV and I’ve not seen on reruns either. You’d love it! There is another show — a bit naughty, but one that will just crack you up is, ‘Little Britain’. My niece, who I often speak about, loves BBC American, and she can figure out what they are saying without turning to me to ask ‘what?". My sister on the other hand, has problems, which makes me laugh. Monty Python is sometimes shown on our PBS stations. Check your PBS stations and see. They had a marathon here in New York several weeks back — LOVE THAT SPAM ROUTINE!! I’m here thinking of Edina & Patsy and laughing. Remember when they sold Saf in Morraco — well at least Patsy did. HA! HA!

# 124 | sexy You know, I’ve for the longest time saw Robert Redford in Brad Pitt physically, and there are times when they DO like a lot alike, but the other day there was a TWLIGHT ZONE episode that had a very young RR, and all I could think of was "Brad Pitt makes Robert Redford look like….as Dustin Hoffman once said……an ONION! Now when RR played Hubble in THE WAY WE WERE, and pretty much all his early 70’s output, the man was gorgeous IMO. Just enough rugged, and pretty, but as a very young man, and as an older dude?….let’s just say I hope Brad doesnt take after RR where the aging process is concerned. Brad looks good, he looks so happy. The haters will never be satisfied, if they smile, they do it for PR, if they don’t smile, they are on the verge of breakup. Anistonfasn always make a big drama out of everything. They should leave Brad and Angie alone, and deal with the alleged breakup of Aniston and VV. Oh, and just to show the twisted fantasy of Anistonfans: after the separation, back in the beginning of 2005, they believed that the separation was a hoax because Aniston got pregnant and Brad and Jen wanted to outsmart the media by announcing separation so noone would be suspicious about the ‘real’ reason LOL. They are living in a completely another wolrd which has nothing to do with reality. I remember they had all kind of explanations after overanalyzing pics, and they managed to come to this conclusion that Aniston was pregnant or getting pregnant! After this i never believe what an Anistonfan says. It’s always the opposite.

Maria, I have watched Little Britain several times, and it is a hoot! The only problem I have with AbFab is that it is out of production and they didn’t make nearly enough of them! Well, that, and the fact that they talk so fast I know I am missing some jokes because I didn’t catch what they said, haha! I’ll have to look for "Fools and Horses" because I really appreciate British humor.As for Brad & Angie breaking up, sure, anything is possible, but I am more about living in the moment, and at this moment thay are very much together. All signs indicate, however, they are in it for the long run, especially since the foundation of this relationship is so different than that of his last one. Just look at the way he described his marriage to Jen when he was in it, and the statement he released with Jen about his divorce when they separated….his relationship with Angie has nothing to "mergers", "experiements", or "deceit". His foundation with Angie is all about passion, for each other and for life.
