observant - Thanks for clearing that up. I thought you must have been referring to the racist comments that were made on this site. Ffordegroupie and some others were saying some extremely racist things about Pam and they also added that she was a "gold digger". I agree that the term gold digger isn’t racist at all, but the other disgusting things they said certainly were and they were deleted by Just Jared.I don’t know J/djingdoodles but I have seen them around and I think we should show compassion for her, not mock (not that you were). I think she seems troubled. Hopefully she will get help and I hope that those who attack her nastily will refrain, mental illness isn’t funny.Kierkegaard has a good point (as always!) but one must also remember that though different individuals view the same reality differently, it doesn’t change the truth of the reality. wtf?About the Heather business, yep it just goes to show that you don’t have to know s.o. or even to meet them to have a sense that they’re not suitable for s.o. & to be right about it. Loads of ppl who’d never met Heather just had a bad feeling about her from how she came across.Some ppl keep going on about how we should ‘respect’ Elijah & his choices. I like Elijah & do respect lots of things about him, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have the right to question his judgment about certain things. Especially because, by becoming a movie actor, he’s put himself & his life firmly in the public eye.For those who’ve noticed, Elijah doesn’t surround himself with a bunch of ass-kissing sheep who hang on to every word he says. Just the opposite in fact. I believe Elijah likes & respects ppl who have a mind of their own. Whatever else we may think of Pam I think she falls into that category. Same goes for the rest of GB - from what I’ve read & seen they’re not big LOTR fans & don’t fawn all over him. I don’t think he values or respects ass-kissers. The LOTR cast friends whose company he valued so much didn’t treat him like that either. I don’t think ppl will score any points with him by slavishly following & agreeing with everything he says & does. I may have said things in a roundabout way but I was supporting the views of ppl who DON’T think Elijah is right for Pam but especially their right to express their views.I don’t agree with making defamatory remarks about Pam that can’t be proven, or with calling her nasty insulting names just for the sake of it but I do agree with you & other ppl who think this relationship is probably just a disaster waiting to happen. That’s why I mentioned the Heather & Paul McC business because ppl were trying to warn Paul off her from the get-go but he wasn’t listening because he thought it was just fans being jealous. That’s why I thought it was funny, seeing that ppl in this fandom who aren’t keen on Pam get accused of just being jealous, lol!I mentioned all that about Elijah not surrounding himself with ‘ass-kissing’ types to make the point that some fans seem to believe he will think more of them if they fawn all over his girlfriend, but I don’t think he likes & respects fawning type ppl.Yeah, Eugene introduced them but then you have to ask yourself, basically how come she hadn’t been already snapped up by s.o. else if she’s really that wonderful???
