Meli - no such thing as an international community, is that why both the U.S. AND France co-authored the UN Security Council resoluution for a cease fire? They are not indiscriminately killing innocent people, but innocent people are getting killed because their bombs are targeting Hezbollah strongholds that are in the middle of cities and as I said, Hezbollah uses the terrorist tactic of using women and children as human shields. It doesn’t matter how Hezbollah started, if they were a true political movement rather than a terrorist organization, they’d be working within the Lebanese government to deal with Israel, not kidnapping and killing Israeli soliders. They are terrorist, end of story. I sympathize with the Lebanese peope, I truly do. I sympathize with the innocent people effected by this conflict, but Hezbollah’s actions are in no way, shape, or form justifiable either in THIS conflict by the history of their relationship with Israel when tere was a settled peace agreement with Israel and Lebanon. I don’t agree with the proporation of Israel’s respoinse, but HEZBOLLAH started this crap when they killed the Israeli soldiers. There had been peace between Lebanon and Israel for years. I frankly think Iran, who is more dangerous than pretty much any country in the world right now, provided the "go" to Hezbollah to target Israel. Further, there has been action by the international community, go to yahoo.com and read the stories about the Security Council resolution. Plus, I have no doubts Angelina would be concerned and sympathize with the plight of the Lebanese people who have had to flee their homes as a result of this conflict. I do too, as I’m sure most people do. But that has absolutely nothing to do with whether Hezbollah is in the right in this conflict. Make no mistake, Hezbollah is who Israel is after, not the Lebanese people or legitimate government.

Isreal is the root of the problem at this pont in time, they were looking for an excuse to attack Lebanon and Hezbollah gave them the excuse by taking the soldier hostage.Please tell me how many innocent Isreal people have been killed versus innocent Lebanon people (most kids)? Isreal has all of the intelligence and thanks to US the warplanes and sophisticated arms etc to know better where to strike, what they want is to scare the innocent people to become refuges to leave their OWN country so that they can gain more LAND for themselves. I am not saying Hezbollah is right, but people have to realize what Isreal did make them even stronger it really back fired on Isreal and for the first time even the supporters are turning against them… That is all I will say re:Lebanon for sure. Let’s talk about BAMZS please!!!BTW-if your response is Isreal is only trying to defend their land, that land was not theirs to begin with, they got it thanks to US cause we felt sorry for them after WW2 and took Palestian land and handed it over to them. Sure Jews lived there thousands of years ago, but that is history. Turks came from Russia can the Turks say 2000 years ago we owned that land so it belongs to us, can the American Indians say heck guys this was our land give it back to us. Please think about it….

Please see Guli’s post #143, which says everything I want to say. There’s no way a country would spend $$MM-BB on war power just for two soldiers. Israel wants land, need to use up funds so they can ask for more money from the US. They receive $1B a year in funding. Like any government funding, if you don’t spend it, next year they reduce, thinking you don’t need all of that money.War = $$, power. Maybe if the Israel were kinder to their neighbors, acknowledging that with that kindness, they were ableto have a new homeland. Good will can change so much, rather then bullying for your existence.
