August 14, 2006 — THERE’S going to be a shortage of A-list celebrities on the "Today" show if Jennifer Aniston’s high-powered flack gets his way.Word is that Stephen Huvane is furious because the NBC morning chatfest trumpeted Us Weekly’s "scoop" about Aniston and Vince Vaughn’s supposed engagement, and then had Ann Curry breathlessly pump editrix Janice Min for details. So Huvane is said to be yanking his roster of top stars from future "Today" appearances.Sources say Huvane called "Today" executives and read them the riot act for not having checked with him before reporting that Vaughn proposed to Aniston on a private plane after a romantic weekend in Mexico. Huvane has branded the story a complete fabrication. He’s said to have told the "Today" suits he’s pulling his hottest clients - including Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Demi Moore and Kirsten Dunst - from the show indefinitely.It’s also expected Huvane will hand his clients over to dreaded ABC competitor "Good Morning America." I was incredibly disappointed. Then she came through at one point in the Min intervew and said something like, ‘and after all she’s been through,’ and I was like, ‘UH Ann! Hold UP a minute! What’s the implication babe?’ Was she hitting that tired old refrain about Angie & Brad ‘puttng Aniston through whatever people think she’s "been through?" In short I was VERY disappointed in Ann, I’m sure B&A were as well. To tell you the truth, it looks like Ann got set up, for being so firmly ensconced in the ‘Brangelina,’ camp. Because the REAL down low, involves this whole thing being a set up to garner MORE publicity for Aniston & Vaughn about their engagement than their otherwise would have been if they had just announced it - it’s a way for them to stay ‘bit STAR-ish,’ without making a PR statement…let the tabloids leak it, so that everyone will essentially know you COULD be and very well ARE engaged, and then your PR flack and you stay tight-lipped generating ‘MYSTERY,’ that could last for months.It looks like Ann Curry was tripped up by Huvaniston, and now looks like a fool.2) On another level, I have to wonder - if some of Huvane’s other ‘high powered clients’ (mentioned wre Paltrow, Demi Moore, etc.) like that they are so often linked with Maniston and her devoted PR flack?? The thing is Huvane and his family (bro is editor at GQ) are trying to become the ‘haliburton’ of Hollywood it seems and just as untouchable, it makes me think that there is nothing they WON’T do, to make their client look good and to garner press. Aniston is becoming Paris Hilton/Jessica Simpson, and Huvane is her two dollar BULLYIN’ *****.

There are exceptions like the ones you named but also Sean Astin, Elijah Wood, Jason Bateman, Ron Howard and that’s just to name a few.The moment a person becomes a parent they realize that it can no longer just be about them. They have to get their act together in order to be a good parent. She’s sober now but how many times did Courtney Love go into rehab? She’s a mother and a widow yet she continued to act self destructive knowing that she had a child to look after.Angelina she sowed her wild oats. Yet people want to continue to see her as the person that she was during her wild youth. She hasn’t done anything crazy or destructive ever since she divorced Billy Bob. It’s wrong to judge someone based who they were FIVE years ago while completely ignore who they are today.

Perhaps Brad will enlist George, Matt, and Rande Gerber to do the name calling for him??Oh wait…I forgot, Brad is a good person, and has moved on, more importantly he’s a movie star and not desperate to ride coattails UNLIKE a certain TV SIT-COM HACK that we know…so I’m sure he won’t do what she did….:-)
