That is some crack team of doctors she has from that article in Vanity Fair a couple of months ago if they still aren’t sure if she’s anorexic or not. They don’t appear to actually be feeding her anything to help her out either.

If she were still doing drugs and battling that addiction, people would be much more sympathetic. I think a lot of people are secretly jealous they aren’t thinner themselves and having the problem of putting ON weight rather than taking it off.

I never thought she was too skinny before, but it looks like she has lost even more weight. Look at her bones in her chest. YIKES! I like her but she needs some serious help already!

I AM that size, HAVE NEVER been able to gain weight and there is NOTHING wrong with me. Just because we are "thin" does not automatically mean we have an eating disorder, you people are so delusional if you think that. ^^^^^^^^ Sky:having followed anorexia for years because my sister battles with it every day of her life ( she can barely engage in social activities sometimes) - I know there are physical symptoms of Anorexia.Being thin should not result in protruding bones, for example. Again, these are all signs that families living with women of anorexia can use to detect the problem.Protruding bones, Overly rapid weight loss. That gaunt look, etc. There are plenty of brochures and info at any doctor’s office or if you go online.Being thin is fine. Some people are born naturally thin. But being emaciated like the above photos is a sign of illness. I cannot judge Nicole because we don’t know her and don’t know her story. But I use her as an example to people who don’t know of what Anorexia looks like - any doctor can tell you this.

LAURE, I am sorry your sister was sick, but seriously quit using your sibling as a poster child for anyone that might be anorexic, you are so far off base its beyond pathetic now honey. I have never been anorexic, I have no eating problems - I am naturally thin - can eat my face full of chocolate and NEVER, EVER gain a pound. Again, sorry your sister was afflicted, but you need to realize not everybody who resembles your sister has the same mental problems that she does. I wish that on everyone.I just know my sister was weirdly jealous of me because I was always very curvy but in great shape because I played volleyball and danced. Meanwhile, she always felt she had to compete. And the way to compete was to not eat.I encourage healthy eating and exercise for everyone. Being thin is not the issue but if you spend your weekends on the volleyball court like I do, trust me you will be healthy and look great.Nicole does not look good. She looks awful. I don’t use my sister as a crutch, by the way. I just always use my experience with her as a way to help anyone I can.There are a really high number of women living with eating disorders. The statistics are alarming. To champion Nicole Ritchie as a poster child for looking good is dangerous.I would much rather look like Scarlett Johanseen or Salma hayek than Nicole Ritchie. I just think women who are not born naturally curvy with sexy shapes think the way to attain it is to not eat.Again, Sky, glad to hear you are not ill. Hi Sky: I have a friend who is rail thin and can eat me under the table any time. If I ate the way she eats, they’d be using me as a float in the Macy’s Day Parade! She had three kids — all grown — and is still rail thin. She was never heavy and she has always eaten anything she’s ever wanted. I think the real concern, at least for me, is that Nicole was not this thin. She had a cute figure and had a bit of skin on the bones. IF she’s gotten herself thin to ‘impress’ or to ‘be it’, then that’s what worries me. If pictures make you 15/20 heavier, you can just imagine just how thin some who was not, she’s gotten. I hope that, again, this is something she’s not doing because all her friends are thin. She’s a pretty girl, dresses really sharp, but HEALTH issues are MY concern. Remember, she started losing the weight when she was hanging around that idot Paris. Let’s just all hope that this is something that is OK and that it isn’t going to put her at risk health wise.

Sky: One more thing. I’m not thin and could lose some pounds, but I’m not jealous of thin people. We all come in all shapes and sizes and should respect one another for it.

Well said Maria…Nicole has not always been thin…She probably thought she was a little on the plump side when she was BFF with Paris Hilton…and decided to lose some weight. These days THIN is in…but puleeze Sky being this THIN should NEVER be in. I have big boobs and a small waist and am very happy with that look…whether or not THIN is in…this is not the look we want our children to think is healthy…

#32: First let me say I’m not a Nicole fan. I’ve seen about two episodes of her silly show with the ‘air head’ Paris and could not believe she would ask a little girl to say the ‘B’ word. When the little girl did not want to say it, Nicole kept insisting. Not a very smart.I do agree 1000% with your statement above. Let’s hope, if she has a problem, she addresses it. Nicole WAS always thin, then just after rehab packed on the pounds You give yourself away when you said she had a little more than skin and bones — she was FAT! And she knew it and started to lose. But then when her relationship was suffering, and she had a lot of pressure such as not being friends with Paris and so possibly fired off of Simple Life, she started to really lose and lose rapidly. When you’re 5′1, a little bit goes a long way, and she lost way too much. She realized it, admitted it, and has tried to gain the weight back, but it’s hard for some people. Yeah, Marilyn Monroe was a size 14 during Some Like it Hot — she was also pregnant! She had a miscarriage while shooting that movie. Also, she was constantly being called overweight. She had huge boobs, that kind of tends to make your dress sizes larger, and she was only allowed to be in jeans in one movie, and the studios kept her in dresses the rest of the time and hounded her to lose the weight. Get real!! A size 14 is a large size, and unless you are 5′10", it’s TOO BIG!! This whole nonsense about the average American is size 12 so Hollywood stars at size 4 are abnormal is bunk. The average American is size 12 because the average America is OVERWEIGHT!! I know women in active jobs like waitressing who are 5′8", have meat on their bones, tits and asses, and wear a size 2 because they are IN SHAPE. And they aren’t the ones eating the wrong pizza order, or going home to sit in front of the TV or the video games eating chips. They are eating salads, chicken, yogurt, pasta, vegetables, fruits, pork, fish, and all in the right amounts. Try it sometime. You might be surprised by the results.

Well I agree she does not look well at all she could die from being like that…. organs begin to shut down when there is not enough food to help them function I would not want my daughter to be that thin either, futher more I have very thin girl friends and they do not look like that in a swim suit.

Nicole before she got this thin was a cute, cute girl. Now she scares me. As well as the other women in the celebrity universe who are far, far too thin (and we know who they are). I’m really surprised people are saying that Nicole looks good. She looks old and frail. She is a woman in her early 20’s who looks like an extra for the Golden Girls. Yes, she gained weight after rehab, but she was thin before BECAUSE SHE WAS A HERION ADDICT FOOLS! She did drugs to be thin. I’m not knocking her for getting into shape after the rehab stint, but honestly, she went too far. And it doesn’t matter if I’m fat or not. I think womanly shapes are the most attractive, women like halle berry, Salma hayek and Catherine Zeta Jones. Women who look like women and not frail child skeletons. While people may be jealous of slender, in shape people, no one is jealous of a skelator. Ok for those of you saying she doesn’t have a problem and that she is naturally thin, then why don’t you take a look at her before she got thin. I remeber seeing pictures of her with misha barton, and she made misha look giant. she lost too much weight too quickly. i am not saying she still has a problem, but it is not like anorexia ever goes away. this is not about people being jealous, or wanting to be thin, or hating those who are. it is a serious health issue, and young girls are looking to nicole and thinking this is the social norm.

I myself was anorexic and bulimic and was hospitalised a few months ago, ate my way up to a healthy weight…..I remember though that I looked quite like this and was horrified by it……she looks dishevelled and old…..Getting better is like stopping smoking, you just need to genuinely want it. I did, hope she shall too….sometime…..I still smoke though, heh.

Wow that is sick. I wish that girl would get some help!! I can’t believe these pics. Just started seeing them around yesterday, decided to take a better look. Yucky. Sad, actually. She looked fine when she initially started to lose, but it’s been obvious for a while that she has an eating disorder. Doesn’t anyone see that she’s going to be dead soon?
