Ojpf - I don’t know that it was ever confirmed but I am sure in my own mind that is what happened, based on the dates and timeline. Brad did say it was fine for him to be the bad guy because he didn’t care what people thought. Also, in the other thread when we were talking about the dates the papers were signed in August 05….Brad sigend first, then Jen waited something like 2 weeks before she got around to signing…it seemed to me that she wanted to make him wait as long as possible, like she wanted to drag it out, make him swea before he would be officially single again. Somebody posted that article that conraiend the dates that they both signed the papers. I do feel Brad gave Jen an ultimatum in Dec 04, that’s why she came home not wearing her ring. Tehn they went on that vacation to iron out the details. I bet the he & Jen slept in separate rooms on that vacation and Brad was on the phone with Angie every chance he got. I hope he was.

And by the same token, a former "wild child" is not allowed to fall for "a nice guy" and said "nice guy" is not allowed to fall for a "wild child" if it ruins America’s hope for their Sweetheart to live happily, if childless, ever-after. I remember also seeing those divorce papers with dates in an article, I remember that he signed the papers in June, on the date of the M&MS premiere ( I remember thinking about that little detail ), and that J. Aniston signed about two weeks latter. They were officialy divorced in August, but have to wait ’till Oct. 2nd, because of the California "6 months waiting" divorce rule.

In my head I think they decided that she would be the one to file, but maybe she had a change of mind until SHOWEST, and that prompted her to no longer drag it out. Hell, I’ll make a special trip to Wal-mart just so I can read them all and laugh myself silly! # 193 | Passing Through | - lol, hey PT, that is me as well, every so often I do make a special trip to my Newstand and read the trashy tabs and have a good laugh when I read the craziness in them, my Newstand guy is good about letting people read whatever magazine they want without having to buy them.
