outkast idlewild giveaway

The notorious OutKast duo is back in full force this year with another major music debut entitled, Idlewild, set to be released next Tuesday, August 22 (you can listen to the entire new album on OutKast’s Myspace page). Just a few days later, Big Boi (Antwan A. Patton) and Andre Benjamin of OutKast can be seen on the silver screen in their new movie also called Idlewild.

OutKast returns with a brand new album, Idlewild, arriving in stores on August 22nd with the movie of the same title, starring Dre and Big Boi, hitting theatres nationwide on August 25th. Idlewild is a brand new album of all new studio tracks from the legendary duo, including "Morris Brown," "Mighty O," and "Idlewild Blue (Don’tchu Worry ‘Bout Me).

The giveaway this time includes several items including the 5 albums shown above and a limited-edition 10-inch vinyl that includes the tracks "Morris Brown" and "Idlewild Blues". Lots of stuff to win!

Set against the backdrop of a 1930s southern speakeasy, Idlewild explores the lives of Percival (Benjamin), the club’s shy piano player, and Rooster (Patton), the club’showy lead performer and manager. Idlewild synthesizes drama, music, cinema and style to bring the tale of struggling singers to life. It is the feature film-directing debut for Bryan Barber, the award-winning director and longtime OutKast music video collaborator, and includes dance sequences choreographed by legendary performer and three-time Tony winner Hinton Battle.
