Every time I think about what AJ might think of GP and her phony ass, I remember a scene that was described as being one of the best in the mediocre Jude Law/GP/AJ flick (where AJ had a SMALL role). It’s the scene where AJ’s character first meets the GP character and she says, "What is this THING?" It was a critical review of the film. PT, you’re right. I think JA was well aware that she was indeed rebound. That had to be a MAJOR cause for concern and insecurity for her since Paltrow during the course of their marriage, especially the early years was EVERYWHERE. I mean not only is she younger, she’s obviously prettier (a pretty easy feat for Paltry, considering Aniston looks like a monkey’s butt), an Oscar winner with a REAL film career, and back in the day..Paltrow as bizarre as it seems now, was seen as this incredible fashion plate — oh yeah, I’m fairly certain that had a lot to do with what Maniston calls her ‘insecurity, crap and dysfunction,’ that she praises Brad for dealing with.I can so see Brad, in an effort to make her feel loved and wanted, and not the tv slug that she is, reinforcing their relationship by pretending to ridicule his ex Paltrow. It probably galvanized them. Maniston probably never believed him, as she knew how bitter he was when they got hitched. Pain is very difficult to hide — and she saw it up close the first two years they went together. I’m sure he told her what Paltrow did to cause the break-up, and then after - when she supposedly spread lies about him, and ridiculed him…(which is what makes Maniston’s worship NOWof dame paltry just so weak of character).I bet Angelina even knew what Paltry did to BP…prior to meeting him, that’s how nasty it turned between BP and GP…I wonder if they talked about her on-set of MAMS, I’m betting they did…supposedly BP and Ange would talk for hours and about all manner of stuff. I bet Angelina secretly thinks GP is a dolt, and wouldn’t deign to go on about the idiotas Maniston does. I recalled reading some interviews around the time of Sky Captain — and GP was busy kissing Angie’s ass, but it wasn’t returned. I wonder if Angelina already had a negative impression about her after hearing what she was capable of when she was with Brad.I know all that’s water under the bridge for Brad, which is why Maniston’s antics are even more pathetic. I’m sure he cares not one whit that Maniston kisses her ass, at the very least it’s annoyance that he ever could have hooked up with two selfish bitchs who could stab him in the back so easily.Yet another reason why he worships AJ. She’ll have his back forever.
