Hey guys, It’s 5am here in Savannah, Ga and I am having an unusual bout of insomnia. Gitane, and anyone else who lived through and is still dealing with the aftermath of Katrina, my heart goes out to you. My beloved hometown of Savannah, which is so similar to NO in many ways (both good and bad…), could be next, so I can only imagine. It looks like we are going to have a relatively quiet hurricane season.I am really shocked about this Tom C Paramount biz. I know he’s crazy and all, but I have feeling that this is only the beginning. My gut tells me this is going to get reeeeaaal ugly. I think the good end of it for B&A is that it will knock them off the tab covers for a while, so yay for them.Speaking of tabs, I have to say that the lurker/poster that was here earlier who was asking about Brad’s mother going to Maddox’s B’day party did have a point that we can’t use a story from The Star in an argument when trying to prove a fact or not. It *is* circular logic to say all tabs are false, then use a tab blurb in your argument. However, I thought People reported that as well, didn’t they? It was just a little one paragraph deal, but I really don’t remember. The truth is, we really don’t know how Brad’s mom feels about Angie, because there have not been any quotes from a reliable source. So until there are, nobody can say one way or another. Doug Pitt did say, as someone quoted above that the family had met her and did like her, but can someone tell me where that quote is from? If it is a tab, I won’t use that to back up any theiries, either.I do have to say that it is funny that posters come to these threads just itching for something negative to say, and they claim to be long-time lurkers. Well, if they really are long-time lurkers, they would know that the regulars are very diverse. Yet, these "lurkers" will zero in on one post from one person, and suddenly ALL Brad & Angie fans are hypocrites, using circular logic, twisting words….etc. Sure there are a few people here who get caught red-handed with a bad argument, but that’s not the case for the majority. Thse lurkers have a need to stereotype B&A fans, so they look for it. Briseis in post #807 has the pattern identified. It’s the same thing over and over. Lurkers base their arguments on a few things here and there and only see what they want to see, which is negativity.
Early AM Poster, I am thinking that if Jen did live there, she didn;t live there long. This article was done shortly after they got married, right? I don;t know what the date of their wedding was…wasn’t it 2001? If the article came out in Nov 2001, then I assume it was put together that summer around the time they were getting hitched. Isn’t this the house Jen said she didn’t like because the furniture was uncomfortable?Either way, if Jen lived there or not, I am sure the interiors have been drastically changed since 2001. I wonder if Brad has made any concessions to Angie’s love of antiques? She has said she isn;t good at putting things together, so I could see her picking out pieces and then allowing Brad and the decorator to do the rest. I know Brad adores mid-century modern, and I like it alot, too, but I have to agree that it isn’t very warm or inviting. To me, it is most interesting when paired with pieces from eras in a more eclectic style. I have an Eames chair that sits next to a Victorian marble top chest, and I love the mix of old and new. It’s more visually appealing and feast for the eyes. I am hoping that maybe this is what Angie has introduced into Brad’s design taste, that she has also shaken up his decorating sense as much as she rocked the rest of him! LOL!

Star Magazine has a big Ass cover of Angelina with the heading that Jane Pitt can’t stand her. The bogus story goes on to say that Angelina didn’t acknowledge Brad’s parents when they came to SB for Mad’s birthday. It says they had an "open bar" and Brad’s parent’s don’t drink and everyone else was. They felt uncomfortable and left two days before the were supposed to. It also said that JP thinks AJ was ‘intoxicated" ROTFLMAO. Star seems to have forgotten Ms Aniston’s drinking habits.Star also will run an article on Aniston and Vaughn. Pitt’s quit and started smoking again a ton of times over the years. In fact he gave an interview when he was w/Paltrow and said he had to quit because they wanted to start a family soon. Not all people can quit cold turkey who’ve smoked for 20yrs or more. For his own health I hope he’ll finally put the cig’s down he has a family now and they’ll want him around for a long time

I went through 4 major hurricanes, here in FLA 2yrs.ago.Evacuated just once,the highways so clogged. I-95 became a long parking lot and hotel rooms were all filled. Thank God damaged to my house was minor compared to some people I know and certainly not in same scale as NO.We are still in the middle of the hurricane season and there’s a new one forming over the ATLANTIC.
