Angelina Jolie Los Feliz
Brad Pitt has reportedly invested an estimated $4 million in the properties, which include a stone house once occupied by Elvira actress Cassandra Peterson, a California craftsman, and a post-and-beam property built in the 1950s. Pitt purchased the first of the three properties in 1994 and has been renovating ever since.
Brad and Angelina’s Malibu mansion is yesterday’s news! Angelina Jolie was spotted driving around her new home in the Los Feliz neighborhood just this past Monday. A source tells Us Weekly, "Brad’s turned the compound into a Neverland-like place. It’s meant to be a kids’ paradise, where they can just run wild." More aerial shots of Brad and Angelina’s Los Feliz home in the gallery!

# 174 | Maria - I can just see it. I hope they do real soon… Toronto would be good place to start.
Dragonfly, hon, you don’t know Angelina and you don’t know if she wants to go back to the red carpet. Even if she does, she said her movie career does not fulfill her. All I can see in her latest acting roles is the same lame face she makes. Whether or not she has a big fan base doesn’t matter. Her acting is horrible. The only roles she WAS good in were wild child roles.
FITR - I am sorry you feel that way. There certianly is some over-the-top stuff, but not *everyone* is insane. I think myself and several others who have been around this morning, Maria, CCCC, Be Sane, Lynn Campbell (sorry if I missed anybody) are quite rational.Maria - Yes, I think I will hear the screams from Toronto all the way down here in Georgia! haha!!
Only one remedy regarding the back & forth. Anytime someone on an Angelina or Brad thread brings up you know who, delete it or report abuse. After a while the few that tend to bring her up when she has no buisness in a thread like this, will finally get the message. I email JJ to tell him to add more X threads as well. Anytime a BAMZS fan metions X or writes a novel about her, just report abuse. # 156 | okay? |+++++++++++++++++I disagree with you. First of all, we don’t need more X threads, just for the sake of the fanistons’ sanity (although I saw one on x17 few days ago, with her bodyguard covering her face. it’s worth for JJ to put on this blog, for the ridicule).Secondly, I don’t see anything wrong with bringing her up on a BAMZS’ thread, as long as it’s not dead threats. We are allowed to criticize anyone we want, on this celebrity gossip blog.Thirdly, I think, the real reason some of us are getting tired of this blog is the *** for tat going on between the haters and some of BAMZS’fans. JMHO.
Angelina flies and I’ve seen that ‘compound’ already. Could I be more bored with brangelina?Actually…no. Out.# 8 | Why is this News? |============================Yet, You took the time to pop on Her Thread, and respond to it as well.. lol, that’s what a call a real loser. # 98 | I agree with no. 8. In response to your question No. 98…if I don’t ‘vote’ how will my voice be heard. Besides, isn’t there "Freedom of Speech" here? or is it group think only?
Fan Fiction in Da house y’allAugust 23, 2006Jennifer Aniston’s HeartacheJennifer Aniston’s biggest concern when she woke up on Aug. 18 was how she and Vince Vaughn would get along while filming their acceptance skit for a Choice Chemistry Teen Choice Award. But everything would change with the news she received around lunchtime: Her father, Days of Our Lives star John Aniston, 73, had just suffered a heart attack. She frantically rushed to her father’s side at West Hills Hospital & Medical Center in West Hills, Calif., where she met up with her stepmother, Sherry."It was a scary few hours before Jen got definitive word from doctors that her dad would be fine," notes the insider. "The day took Jen to the emotional brink."Through it all, Jen turned to one person for support and comfort: Vince. "He was with Jen when she found out her father had the heart attack, and he dropped everything to be with her at the hospital," says the insider. "He canceled several appointments and stayed by her side, even when Jen was unsure if her father would be OK."A witness at the hospital tells Life & Style that Jen and Vince both looked upset and that at one point, "you could see that Jen had been crying." {Jen’s rep didn’t respond to a request for comment}.Jen, 37, spent the rest of the weekend visiting her dad and focusing on his well-being. But she couldn’t help but realize that in a true moment of crisis, she instinctively turned to Vince - and he came through for her."Vince really proved himself to Jen," says the insider. "She says his being there all weekend long helped her stay strong for her dad. I don’t think Jen is ever going to forget what a stand-up guy Vince was and how he really stuck by her just when she needed him the most."Indeed, Vince’s compassion may have forever changed Jen’s relationship with him - and with her ex-hubby, Brad Pitt. As Life & Style previously reported, Brad recently confessed to Angelina Jolie that he still has lingering feelings for Jen.But when her father fell ill, the thought of running to Brad - or even calling him to let him know - never entered Jen’s mind. Though Brad and his former father-in-law were close, "Jen was pretty firm about limiting the news about her dad’s health to family and, of course, Vince," says the insider. While Brad no doubt would have liked to have been kept in the loop, "the fact that Jen kept him off the hospital guest list says a lot," says the insider. "She just doesn’t see Brad as part of her circle anymore. Vince is being more of a husband to her than Brad ever could be.""Jen says Vince really showed what kind of man he can be, and it’s made a huge difference in their relationship," says the insider. "Before, she seemed like she was about ready to give up on Vince for good. That’s not the case anymore. It’s sad that it had to happen this way, but she’s had a major change of heart."********************************************************************The Bolded portion is Life and Style Fanfiction in it’s best. If her dad really had a heart attack, I’m sorry to hear that.
155-robynNice to hear something positive about this family. So many unpleasant stories about them. Please feel free to come visit AJ/BP threads. ANYTIME is a good time. Thanx….
Yet, You took the time to pop on Her Thread, and respond to it as well.. lol, that’s what a call a real loser. # 98 |Any particular reason for that uppercase in "Her" for angelina? Frankly I don’t think that’s been earned.
Emmy - She said she works in movies in order to continue her charity work and donations. I think she’ll continue for quite some time, but that’s just opinion. Time will tell. She has also been praised for her acting ability by many experienced actors, and at the end of the day, movies are art. Art is one of the most subjective things you’ll ever encounter, so it is all a matter of taste at the end of the day. Angie’s popular. People like to see her on the big screen. No, that may not always be true as it isn’t with any actor *cough* Tom Cruise *cough*, but I think she hasn’t peaked out yet.
to #101 no one you know "I don’t like how people praise her like God "—-I dont think the fans are raving Angie to the extent of "like God". You are exergerrating. These are really hard cord ardent fans. You cant draw this paralle. Look up God, worship, idol. Pay attention on what the worshippers do and you will see the difference. oh, not the dictionary, but the encyclopedia !
Dragonfly: Don’t listen to Marla2. She’s a JA fan and makes up stories. I wouldn’t give the the ‘light of day’. She’s not worth your gray cells. I’ve had run ins with her when I’ve visited the Jen site. FITR: I agree that some people come onto this site and use hateful language and are rude, but don’t stop posting, you’ll miss out on some good stuff. Just skip over those people who’s lives are dead and spread those negatives around. They are sad, sad people.
she hasn’t peaked out yet. # 184 | dragonfly For some she has…about 6 razzie nominations ago. And we are all entitled to our POV.
The back & forth clogs up the thread with mindless useless information. X is buried in the past as well as the G woman. Look forward people.
All I can see in her latest acting roles is the same lame face she makes. Whether or not she has a big fan base doesn’t matter. Her acting is horrible. The only roles she WAS good in were wild child roles. # 177 | Emmy |+++++++++++++++++Which movies are you talking about? Please don’t generalize like that. I thought she was very good in "Beyond Borders", "Alexander", "The Bone Collector", to name a few. Actually, I am a fan, so I think she was good in all her movies. She was good in her action movies, like Tomb Raiders, and especially MaMS. Can you picture any actress playing those roles?
# 187 - Done with her - I didn’t say you weren’t entitled to your opinion. You said you were sick of seeing her on the red carpet, so I just told you that you should prepare to be even more sick. And about those razzies? I am only vaguely familar with what that even is, but people keep saying she’s nominated. Did she win? What difference does that make? I hear alot of very talented and popular people get nominated. It’s just like these beyond silly polls that come up. I never vote in them because in the long run they aren’t prestigous enough to amount to hill of beans.
# 189 | ntt |I loved Original Sin
# 190 | BRAD’S SCAM…..yawn…..another one bite the dust of stupidity…..my my my…..what a stupid shithead you are….i guess your mom tried to abort you thus your brain can’t properly function…..do….you….understand….what….i….am….saying??? dimnitwitshithead!!!
Angelina Jolie’s Humanitarian WorkI know it’s old news, but it is in the same spirit as Missy Elliott’s contribution to end domestic violence. In August, 2002, Angelina Jolie won the world’s first Church World Service Immigration and Refugee Program Humanitarian Award. She won the award for "her work and dedication as Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Since becoming UNHCR’s spokesperson in August 2001, Jolie has mounted an impressive record of personal commitment, travel, financial contributions, and resources on behalf of the millions of persons being torn from their homes worldwide, in the face of war, conflict and oppression. In less than a year, she has visited refugee camps and met with refugees, officials, and aid workers in countries including Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Namibia, Cambodia, Pakistan, and Thailand." Her recent work shows that she’s moving farther in that direction. I want to see "Beyond Borders," but I haven’t done so yet. The movie sounds like the humanitarian work she’s been doing. Mixed in with the usual "Jolie Is A Mental Case Who Wears Vials of Blood" nonsense the press likes to hype were paragraphs like this one: "Jolie [...] , made arrangements to travel to Sierra Leone and met there with the U.N. High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR).She travelled with relief workers to Cambodia and Pakistan in the next year and in 2001 was asked by UNHCR to become its goodwill ambassador. Since then, the actress has visited refugee camps in Namibia, Thailand, Ecuador, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Kosovo, Ingushetia and Congo." Two weeks before Sept. 11 she was at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. She said that "[a]fter the planes hit, "the fact that I’d two weeks before been on the Pakistan border with 3 million Afghan people that had been there for over 20 years - it was a kind of reality check for me that when there are masses of people displaced for a lot of years, there’s something happening in that area. It’s not a coincidence that things explode."Speaking of things exploding, there is still a possibility of a third Tomb Raider movie. I know that some bloggers, including feminist bloggers, have been criticizing the "women who act like men" types of female heros like Lara Croft. Broads with big guns. I’ve always liked the game Tomb Raider. The movies have been misses so far, but maybe the third time will be the charm.I’ve always liked Angelina Jolie. Her humanitarian work is another reason for me to like her.November 04, 2003
Since Babel is coming out soon, there’s good chance that Brad will have to do some promotion for it. I know the usual "west coast" show is The Tonight Show but I really don’t like Jay Leno. He’s just not that funny compared to Conan, Colbert and Stewart. Here’s an oldie but a goodie video where Stephen talks about his feelings concerning Brad’s appearance in Fight Club.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTxzZKKMX0Q
the jolie-pitt clan is about to have another residence in the ’show me’ state (gosh what a great state tagline!) of missouri where brad pitt grew up.http://popbytes.com/archive/2006/08/brad_pitt_builds_in_missouri.shtml
#175 FITRIt is unfair to say everyone is crazy, I have lurked for months and only started posting recently but I noticed that once the "haters" leave, it can be interesting blog to read. I like the interactions and fun stories the regulars share. I like reading the Fanfics and "wedding planning" stuff with Gitane and the other girls. My plea is to ignore the haters and continue with these little stuff, most of them are here to rile the regulars up anyway. #183 CuriousNow you being ridiculous, how far are you going to take this nitpicking? Stop seeing things that are not there or trying to read meaning into everything.
# 184 | dragonfly - ITA but I wouldn’t respond even though I can’t help it sometimes. Once you respond, the other vultures in hiding will come out and attack you. They want to be fed, they are hungry. JJ needs to feed these vultures every now and again with anything… photos from "Friends" may work very well… then they could reminisce about what was because really that’s what they remember.
Brad’s Scam - You are racist. If you weren’t, none of these thoughts would even enter your head. Now carry your Archie Bunker-sounding tail on down the road.
#192|fan womanI loved Original Sin too. Besides Gia, this is my favourite Angie’s performance. Both of these movies were heartbreaking and beautiful. I can’t wait to see Good Shepard!
I find it odd that the BAMZS fans complain about JA being brought into a AJ thread, but the majority of the time, its the JA/BP fan that drags her into it..if a JA fan is just reading the comments, they feel as tho they should respond..I know if I don’t see anything about JA, I wouldn’t respond..As far as death threats go, there are terrible fans on both sides, I have seen many comments wishing slow horrible death on Jen..I don’t think its right no matter who is doing it…
