# 226 | FITR My thinking was that when the movie Babel premieres for the theaters and they are doing major promotion, I think then the major hoopla is welcome and the better for the movie. This being a film festival that the movie is trying to win some major awards for, I thought maybe the movie would be center stage. But I’m probably wrong, I usually am alot!

# 226 | FITR I agree that they have a right to appear at their movies together but I don’t want them to appear at every red carpe event like a premiere or an award ceremoney together. It might be too much. At the most, I think they should appear atleast once together but I’m still on the fence about it. I like how they kept their lives private as much as they can and I don’t like the idea of the paparazzi clicking away at them on some red carpet event and making Brad and Angie pose for the cameras.

238 | jjoy - yup, and the other thing is, maybe if they show up at a couple of them together, the hysteria will die down about photographing them together, seeing them together, and then the next time they show up at an event together, you’re just like "Oh, ho hum, its Brad and Angie again…" I can see why they don’t give the paps pictures of them in their personal lives or family, but maybe if they do give them pics in places where they’re more appropriate, like red carpet events, where they EXPECT the paps and photogs to be there, some of the hysteria will die down, even if just slightly.

# 235 | Lynn Campbell - I don’t think you’re wrong necessarily, but its just a different perspective…you could be right. But with Babel being a smaller movie, Brad being in it, and Brad and Angie showing up to the Toronto premiere, might actually help it because of more buzz or attention being paid to why they’re exactly there together. I don’t think red carpet walking has to be constant, frequent, or done in a way like Crazy Tom Cruise. They don’t have to talk to reporters, necessarily. I dont’ think they should go to award shows unless they’re nominated for something…(which I think they both will be this upcoming season), but at the same time, I think an awards show or industry event is the best time they can get photographed together because that is technically part of their jobs, whereas the stuff that the paparazzi’s do photographing them together in their everyday lives, or when they’re on a date or go to this gallery thing together, its not part of their jobs, its more intrustive.

By the way I’m an fan of JA and some of the stuff that got said about her in those "fictions’ seemed to be showing up on other blogs as ‘truth’. Newcomers would most likely not know that it wasn’t a fresh link….or that it was just fanfic.
