I think the prudent thing would be what someone suggested, that Brad alone go to the Toronto Film Festival, because the movie IS his, and just like Nicole Kidman didn’t need Keith Urban at her side on the red carpet, Brad doesn’t need Angie to give him moral support on the red carpet. Been there, done that. He had to hold up an insecure little girl for seven years, now there are two adults in this relationship. She can meet him inside, or wait until they attend the party for Clinton together. As for skipping reporters, I don’t think that’s good form. He can do the press, sign autographs, wave to fans, etc and there will STILL be huge buzz. Look at the buzz and pics coming out of the Ocean’s 13 set — no need for Angie to be there on the red carpet right then. But the Oscars…. now THAT could be a great red carpet coming out party! Like was said before, the two of them would be a sideshow overshadowing a movie, at least for now, but at the Oscars, with all the stars there and such a big worldwide event, they would not overshadow anything.My curiosity is this: will they go to THE industry party, the Vanity Fair Oscar party???? Brad and Jen went last year, even though they were seperated at the time, and entered and left separately but spent time together at the party. After Jen’s lying, manipulative interview, and LEslie Bennets going on E! talking about "poor Jen" and how mean Brad was to her, do you think they would blow off Vanity Fair? Or do you think Vanity Fair will be wooing them with everything they’ve got to make amends?

I have the same feeling as you that AJ probably won’t be on the red carpet - but Toronto kind of lends itself to people in the film bringing their significant others or guests, as all the stars, cast, crew, directors, studio heads, and producers are in the balcony and watching the film - it’s a way for them to enjoy and celebrate the fruits of their labor together. So I can’t see Brad not having Angie there for that…it’s a very comfortable, relaxed good time. Many times the stars watch their films, and sometimes they don’t but they will come back and be their when the lights go on it’s a real kick for the festival attendees to see the big names up in the balcony.
