Rather interesting challenge this week… Project Runway designers had to create a look for an "everyday woman" but not for their regular models… for their mothers and sisters (not their own). Above are the designer match-ups!
I’m not crazy about wild prints but Uli’s designs keep impressing me week after week. My Project Runway favorites are being picked off week after week. First Keith, last week was Alison, and this week was Robert! I just might have to root for Uli now… More pictures in the gallery!

this competition is just begging for some ‘your mama so fat..’ jokes…
I thought that was such an unfair challenge. It was so much harder for designers with a fat model to design something even decent. …and of course the majority of the ones who had a fat one were at the bottom. I thought it would have been fair to have only fat women insted. I also thought that Vincent’s outfit was ugly and that the only reason he got away with it was because he had a thin model….
don’t like Mickael…don’t like people who think that God has anything to do with their career….what a joke!!! Do you really believe God has nothing else to do that send little Michael to project runway! … got on my nerve!!! I have to admit though that the guy has talent.
Dragonfly: No, never saw that. Gosh, that would have driven me mad. She’s suppose to be such a big time model, but she wears some ugly stuff sometimes — and some of her hairdos — what’s that all about?Melissa Ferme: What’s all the ‘fat’ stuff. Can’t you use the world ‘big size’, ‘heavier’, ‘plus size’ etc.? I understand where you’re coming from, but again, our society loves the word ‘fat’. I think Uli did a great job. Now, about this ‘God’ thing. I soooo agree with you on this one. It’s like watching an award show and they all thank ‘Jesus Christ’, ‘God’, etc. I’m Roman Catholilc, and I’m sure that ‘GOD’ has better things on his mind — Middle East war, Iraq, etc., to worry about helping ANYONE win anything!!! That also drives me up a freakin’ wall. Now all that said, you have a super day and a great week-end.Dragonfly: I’ll meet you over at the Brad page — but I’ve got to comment on ‘Posh’ first. HA! HA!
….big size, heavier, plus size and why not curvy, voluptuous, full, plump, big boned, round….oh well! Fat is fat and it is ok, you can call fat people whatever you want to try to make them feel better but bottom line, three of these ladies (and I am not saying they were not nice ladies) were obese. And no, it is not ok to be fat or skinny (svelte etc.), ultimately it will kill you. In this country were are obsesssed with cigarettes. I can guarantee you that a lot more people die cos they are fat than because they smoke… and yes maybe that needs to be said!
