Can anyone explain why the tabloids are afraid of saying that Brad and Angie are in love? How can one woman(Angie) be fighting with Brad, Brad’s mom and Angie’s dad? This picture is not right. This woman has three little kids to take care of and where would she have the time to be doing all the things they are accusing her of? Who are the people that still buy all these tabloids? Why are these tabloids still in business?

I would completely buckle under the pressure of all these lies being written about me and my husband and esp. my children. I don’t know how they do it, because it is just getting uglier every week. I beleive this is unprecendented, for tabloid fodder to be this bad and this far from the truth. One would think eventually they would blow themselves out, so we’ll have to wait and see. Right now it seems like a battle of wills, B&A versus the tabs, who can hold out the longest. The only thing that gets me is that Angie is taking a good beating from all around although I noticed that Brad is being thrown in the fray lately. Nevertheless, I think they are starting to give a little of themselves which I hope will ease some of the mystery surrounding them. I think we are noticing more of what the tabloids say because we have an interest in both B&A. I for one was never that keen on tabloids or pop culture until they came along. For instance they have eased their bashing of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline these last few months. May be, they will do the same with B&A in due course. I hope so.

The tabs cater to groups like that. the tabs’ role is to make their readers feel good about themselves, so they buy again next week. Best way to do that is by knocking down people who are the opposite of their readers. That’s why they always choose THE most unflattering photos to publish as well, from many years now. It’s just marketing, which does not leave any group out -$1 is the same from everybody. That’s how the "gangsta" clothing has become fashionable, and rap music, etc. As soon as a buying group gets identified, you can bet that it will be marketed to.
May be, they will do the same with B&A in due course. Lots of wsidom here today. I’ve been wondering myself what is up with the tabs and their incessant haunting of the Jolie Pitts. I mean, they both have family in diffferent parts of the country who probably see this crap in the grocery store and wonder. It really is becoming beyond cruel.I never thought of your explanation Dragonfly. I have this bad habit of assuming unless shown otherwise that everyone is like me. It is a serious failing. I have offended many with my takes on Bush totally by accident [but....how can ANYONE support him?] I usually look toward people like Brad and Angie for inspiration, sometimes daydreams, sometimes just to relieve the tedium of my day; but never because I want to think less of them to think more of myself. That’s just CRAZY!

So instead, what do they do? Making up stories about Brad’s mom, dad and grandmother, Angie’s mom, dad and ex-husband, and who knows who is next. I don’t think they will break the Jolie-Pitts down… unless they carry it a bit too far and the Jolie-Pitts take legal action against them… which will be good.

Mind you predominantly MUSLIM country Turkey voted for a WOMAN prime-minister about 10 years ago for 2 terms. Also, Turkish women were able to start voting in 1923, before US women could.
