Hi African Girl! I was just going to read up on the latest and not post, but saw you were here. Thanks for the information on Rica, and do you know anything about Rizzos? She was always so full of fun, had a great signature–something like "Viva los BAMZ!" (I’m sure that’s not right, but you get the idea.) Did you read Lainey today? She said great things about your fiance’….Guli, why don’t you think women in the U.S. are equal? Not understanding…the political parties that select candidates are outdated, it is true, and continue to produce male candidates, but we as women IF WE CHOOSE TO are totally capable of promoting the female candidate we choose as a block of voters, so shame on us for not doing so. All I ask is that it NOT be Hillary. Just my opinion, although I do not think politics belong here, as we all feel differently about our president, etc….

There’s a reason why Jen didn’t have a baby with Brad. There’s a reason why Gwyneth Paltrow cheated on him. There’s a reason why it wasn’t until his 40s that he found what his fans think is a stable relationship. There’s someting wrong with him. Angelina will realize that. Kids aren’t enough to keep a relationship together.And yes Brad wanted to have kids and Jen didn’t, but that’s no reason to break up a 7 year relationship. You’re in a relationship because of love. You just dont go have a baby with someone less than a year after breaking up with someone. Imagine if your boyfriend or your husband (the man you love like never before) left you and had a baby with some other woman not too shortly afterwards. And if Jen took it with a sense of humor in public and got together with Vince for some support, she must have been hurting incredibly inside. I don’t know how you people value relationships, but I consider it a serious thing. My mom waited about 4 years before having me (her first born), while married to my dad. She had a career to think about and moving up in that career before she was ready to have a child with my father. And my father was a 100% supportive. And my mom was 37 when she had me! My dad was 40. Sure, my dad would have loved to have married a younger woman whom he could have had tons of children with. But that’s a fantasy. That’s not reality. He could have left my mom for another woman and it would have probably have been better in other ways. But he loved my mom and knew that it’s just not right and especially to leave one woman to go have children with another. So, what if he didnt have tons of children, like Brad desires. He’s still extremely happy with what he’s got. And he’s not at all selfish. Not at all. My dad’s not a religious man, but he’s got his own values (which I challenge him on because I’m a modernist), but they’re the strongest values and my mom doesn’t know how lucky she is to have my dad for a husband (even though she calls him pigheaded at times).I know these are celebrities and what have you, but people take marriage, relationships and love as a serious thing and not something you just do on a WHIM. And even though she’s the other woman, I think Angelina really should have had some consideration on behalf of Jen’s part. Jen really is a good person. I really don’t know how Brad could just forget about her to go have a baby with someone else. Unfortunatey, these Brangelina fans look at Brangelina as just celebs, so they accept it. They’re looking at what they see in magazines or tv or movies. But the rest of us mature people with serious minds and deep hearts, don’t look at them as celebs. We look at them as real people. That’s why some of us don’t get and can’t accept how Brad broke up with Jen and just went off having a baby with Angelina of all people.

Anna - you seem to have a problem with the baby but you know….don’t use the baby to judge these two because- they can’t help it that they LOVEEE kids and are thinking of having more- they can’t help it that they got pregnant fast. You know Angelina was 30 when she got pregnantLastly, please stop covering for Jen’s mistakes or actions. For christ sake, the woman couldnt and wouldnt own up for the failure of her marriage. Like a juvenile, she placed it ALL on Brad.I just don’t get why you would side with someon who never takes responsibility for her part in the failure of her marriage and blame/choose to hate a 3rd party - Angelina - instead.Sound juvenile to me.

Amy - OK, I can tell by the overall tone of your post that you identify with Jen more than Angelina, so I can respect that, fine. However, I don’t think you really realize what Brad and Jen’s problems were. From what I have read, and what they have each said, Jen has major security and esteem issues. It appears (and this is all just my own opinion because nobody knows) that Brad realized after a point that no matter how much he did for Jen it was never going to be enough. He couldn’t convince her she was good enough, pretty enough, talented enough…etc.. and it just wore him down. This isn’t something you cannot understand unless you have been in a relationship like that. It will literally suck the life out of the one trying to always prop the other one up. It goes back to the old saying about how you can’t love somebody else until you love yourself. Jen didn’t love herself enough to accept Brad’s love. It left him emotionally out in the cold because Jen was always focused on her own issues. They were headed for divorce long before he met Angie.As for Angie, she said she was content to raise her child on her own after BBT basically walked out of their marriage. He later said it was the stupidest thing he ever did, but he did it. Brad and Angie were friends first….yes, they were incredibly drawn to each other, and they really clicked, but because Brad was married, it actually worked out to be a good thing for their later romance. They got a chance to really get to know each other in a "safe" way, because of the barrier of Brad’s marriage. However, since Brad was emotioanlly unfulfilled, he saw everything he felt he was missing in life in Angie, and he fell in love with her. Even after that, he did try to work on his marriage for another six months, but they just weren’t happy. B and J would have divorced eventually even if Angie had never met Brad.I also am having a hard time with your feeling that Brad and Angie should have deferred to Jen about how to proceed with what was now THEIR relationship. Jen’s out of it. She basically threw Brad away, IMO. Brad said he and Jen were going to try and keep the love the had for each other, but then Jen gave that VF interview and all bets were off. He has every right to go after what he wants out of life. I also think that B&A didn’t have a baby to stay together, they conceived her because they love each other.

You feel many B&A fans don’t give Jen credit or beleive sheis a good person, well when I first got interested in all this (and I am not a star-struck celeb watcher, believe me) I was a greta fan of Angleina’s already, but had not paid alot of attention to Brad & Jen. Brad was someone I considered to be a good actor, but I felt neither he nor Jen had much substance to them, so I didn’t pay alot of attention to them. Once Brad got divorced and started saying things like, "I realized I was too concerned about playing interesting roles, when what I really wanted to do was have an interesting life", well hey, I felt like he deserved a little further investigation. I also made it a point to read up on Jen, and I have to say, the more I read abot her and the words coming out of her mouth, the less and less impressed I was. I began to totally see why Brad was unhappy and why he fell for Angelina. The both seem to bring out the best in each other, and that just captivates me the way any good love story does. I wish all three of them the best, but until Jen works on her issues, she’ll find true happiness. I think Brad and Angie found it in each other. The realize there are people like yourself who don’t understand them, but they also realize they aren’t living their lives to please anybody but themsleves.
