Now these ones are very natural looking - probably still have had the hell airbrushed out of them, like any advertising, but they are very soft and natural looking compared to the first lot we saw. Whatever, she is gorgeous - Shisedo have probably got her with a range of ‘looks’ to advertise different types of products.Do you think she is wearing coloured contacts? Her eyes don’t normally appear quite that light blue-grey. Looks fantastic though!

Thanks again Jared. Can’t get enough of that commercial and will probably wear it out. Will definitely be stocking up on Shishedo products now. As for Nike, if they do go ahead with that ad campaign, I will surely be steering clear of their prodcuts in the future. Can’t imagine what that X thing could be endorsing, unless Nike is planning on a line of Chin Straps, or reinforced Nose Guards.

This is one gorgeous girl. And she has a heart of gold. She lives a bit guarded (wouldn’t you everyone is analyzing your ever move) but she kind to people she crosses.

Well, maybe they are too afraid to set foot inside the mall’s better stores like Macy’s or Dillard’s.Even third world countries know of Shiseido. They have them in Asia as well as in Europe. You should go out more often. They don’t advertise on TV honey, so you won’t see them unless you seek them out. They are just a wee bit more expensive than Avon so you’re going to have to ask the hubby if you can buy some of their products. But don’t despair, once they have you as a client, they always send you invitations for a free facial or something. The Shiseido boutique people are very nice they remember your birthday too! Well, since they’re going to be doing a global ad, maybe the housebound will finally get to know what Shiseido is. And what better way than with Angie as the model and endorser. Nice!!!!

You know when I was in high school I could never wonder why the "popular" girl and her click never seemed to get over the break-up of the "popular" girl and the hottest athlete(usually the football player). This usually happened with cheerleaders. I was a cheerleader and It always confused the hell out of me. It was worse than organic chemistry. At least in organic, there was understanding-this carbon atom attached this way because of this and that attachment created this carbon-based molecule. . . But the effect of the break-up of Brad and Jen and subsequent relationship of Angie and Brad on the "Jennifer" fans is just unbelievable. They must really really take this personal. It is like Dejavu-The click never stopped talking about it. They hated the "new girlfriend" every day, every year and even after we graduated. They could never appreciate the evolution of relationships. At first I found this attitude towards Angelina hilarious and I didn’t take the JA fans or those who "claim" to be JA fans serious-I thought they were writing just to be antagonistic-but either JA and her click are posting over and over or there are some seriously demented ppl out there. This is a commerical.. it’s unlike still picture where airbrushing is maximum at work . For a tv commerical, the person/oject is pretty much captured as who they are ..they might play around with focus and effects but the jist is if the person is ugly, it shows.. if the person is attractively gorgeous as in the case of Angelina , it shows too . So to all naysayer… remember , this is a live moving advertisment and not a photo magazine ad. There is a major difference.

But when the sirens go off its best to go in the basement just in case. I lived here 30 years it never has touched down in Columbus usually in rural areas. I can see hat this is made for the Japanese/Asian market. She looks wonderful in the commercial. You can’t "photoshop" a video. You can change the lens of the camera to give that soft focus image this commercial has. I like how Angelina has thought out of the boz in the projects she choose to align herself with. Shiseido is only known in this country by savvy cosmetics & fashion mavens and travelers to Japan. It’s probably the one of the top 3 cosmetics company in the world even though not very widely known here in the US. she could easily have done something "commercial" like L’Oreal, Maybelline, Cover Girl, MAC. etc… but she went with Shiseido. She could have went with whatever the hip & now or revered fashion house to be a spokesperson, but she chose St. John. a company who had a dowdy image. She saw an opportunity to help revitalize a fashion house with impeccable quality. Once they find a new in house designer for St. John, I think the campaign will really take off. Her choice in being a UN Ambassador for UNHCR is another one. she could easily have aligned herself with "the charity du jour" and spent all of her time getting dressed to the nines going to cocktail parties, and other fundraising events. Angelina wanted to get her hands dirty. She wanted to learn & see things UPCLOSE. So she decided to go outside the box and do field work for UNHCR. Angelina, I love these choices you have made including the man in your life.

Can’t believe it, but this commercial actually takes my attention away from her lips! I know it’s centered toward her lips, but her eyes look astonishing when they’re blue. It’s like they’re piercing through my soul. One look at her, I would be in such bewilderment, everything around me would disappear, and I would be so disoriented. I couldn’t derive my attention away from those eyes.As for their relationship, I think both are too stubborn, to give up. The only 2 cents I can mention, is that (if and perhaps they are frustrated with each other) remember everything that attracted you to the other in the first place. These pictures prove Angelina hasn’t had a nose job. Look at how wide her bridge is, just like her pictures when she was young. people don’t understand that you can make a nose look thinner by contouring the nose. It’s done to give a particular look. She has only slight shading on each side of her nose, you can see it. Brown shadow stripe from eyebrow to the nostril on both sides. Shiseido obviously didn’t shade or contour her nose to the extreme like St. John does.

It was indeed a stellar cast of Hollywood’s elite acting talent. Colin Farrell, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Val Kilmer and Jolie. How could “ALEXANDER,” miss? It’s filming budget past the $120 Million dollar mark. It fared far less better at the box office, not even taking back a quarter of the cost. “ALEXANDER,” was an amazing movie to watch.The battle scenes alone were in true Stone style. He not only directed the film but also wrote the script. Controversy surrounded the film from the onslaught. Not only was the casting of Farrell under fire, but the script itself was bombarded by historians and novices alike questioning the authenticity of the story.The movie traces the short life of the Macedonian conqueror, Alexander The Great. Son of King Philip (played by Kilmer) he ascended the thrown at the age of 20 after his father’s murder. Jolie played his mother Olympias (one of the arguments was Jolie and Farrell are only a year apart in age). Nevertheless, it didn’t seem to matter once the movie started and the house lights went down. Hopkins mostly narrates the film as an older and wiser Plotemy, Alexander’s childhood friend. By the time of his death at the age of 32, Alexander had conquered 90% of the world, ruling over parts of three continents and several countries.The problem most historians debated with Stone was the fact that Alexander was a known bi-sexual and that was to be portrayed in the film. Which by some accounts, can prove to be box office poison. The portrayal was not demeaning and took nothing away from the story which for me was more centered around the relationship between mother and son and the lengths his mother would go to protect and smother him. Check out the DVD for yourself and decide. “ALEXANDER,” for all its glory, was a fine film made by a master craftsman. “GIRL, INTERRUPTED” It was for this film that Angelina won the Academy Award for Best Actress. Portraying Lisa, a sociopath, who likes nothing more than to drive the staff crazy at Claymoore, a private mental hospital. Here is where she meets and befriends Susanna, played by Winona Ryder, who has problems of her own. She has been suffering from delusions, and made an attempt of suicide combining a bottle of aspirin and vodka. The cast of characters make up a wonderful on screen ensemble. Lisa, of course has the biggest influence over the other girls and is certainly good at pushing people’s buttons.She has a history of escapes and seems to have uncanny access to everything in the place. Georgina, the pathological liar; Daisy is a victim of sexual abuse; Polly is the badly disfigured burn victim; Daisy won’t eat in front of people; but it is Susanna who falls under Lisa’s hypnotic spell and at times shows signs of ‘acting out’ like Lisa. Nurse Valerie (brilliantly played with humor by Whoopi Goldberg) obviously has her hands full, but never gives up on any of them. The film is a gem in Jolie’s repertoire and rightfully so.“GIA” If you know someone who has any doubts about Jolie’s chops as an actor, I recommend “GIA.” It is an incredible film. Angie won a Golden Globe for the title role. It is the story of real life fashion model Gia Marie Carangi. The movie follows her humble beginnings working for her father in his diner at the age of 17 and explores quite effectively her relationship with her mother, played by Mercedes Ruehl, to her stratosphere rise as one of the top fashion models of the 1980’s.Faye Dunaway plays her manager/agent. Gia was a woman who loved women and turned her idealic life upside down with drug abuse and a heroine addiction. She was one of the first women in America whose death was attributed to AIDS.She died at the age of 26 in 1986. Jolie’s portrayal is smooth as glass, yet you feel the edginess of Gia’s struggle. The struggle to love and be loved, the struggle to live, the struggle to die, and finally the struggle to make sense of it all. This is definitely not a ‘feel good movie,’ but it is amazing to watch. There are those roles and actors that fit like a glove. Perhaps for Jolie, “GIA,” was a bit too close to home. After the movie, Jolie stopped acting and moved to New York to work on her own life and priorities. There is a rated and unrated version of the film on DVD.

Angelina jolie is trully an inspiration for a woman of this century. So many facets to her. SHe has a successful career, she’s a mother, a pilot, a humanitarian, a loyal friend. Her face is a product of genetics and unlike other people who are contented with just being a pretty face, she rose beyond that and even used that to further herself and her causes. That she has risen above her childhood circumstances, is a testament to her strength of character. Way to go Angelina.
