Rumors that Jennifer Aniston would be teaming up with sportswear giant Nike started to surface earlier this month. Some new evidence was just sent in, possibly sealing the deal.
A major NYC-based ad agency reportedly formed a team last month to work on Nike’s Fall/Winter 2006 campaign. While Aniston has not confirmed, the ad agency is still looking to book a slot for a Super Bowl commercial and run with an international ad campaign.
The big bucks (the most Nike has ever paid for an endorsement deal) is being offered to Aniston but she is looking to bring focus to cancer research in her deal with Nike. Nike is, in fact, offering Aniston full control over the charity portion of the deal — several donations to her favorite cancer research charities. Aniston has even suggested signing famous cancer survivors for the campaign including Sheryl Crow. Stay tuned…

Jennifer does have a better body than AJ but her face cannot come close to Angelina’s beauty. Angelina is a much better actress also and her charity comes from the heart, it is not contrived like JA’s image driven charity.

Jen owes her nice slim body to one thing…inhaling 100 cigs a day. If not for that she would be a fat **** like the rest of us, and no amount of treadmilling would change it.
Such hypocrisy, but then again isn’t that what her whole career has been, just one big pr campaign.Back when she had Braddy she couldn’t be bothered to show up even when her co-stars were hosting charity events. Now that she recognizes that she is left behind she is running to catch the last bus to good works. And once again, she is the bestest getting the biggest payout, nah nah nah. What a hypocrite!
This is a tax dodge. She will do it for free, as long as nike says they are paying her…of course…more than whatever they pay Tiger Woods, and she gets out of paying any taxes. This woman dosen’t give to charity. This isn’t Huvane’s idea…it is her tax advisor.

Is somebody at Nike smoking crack? Why would they hire someone like Jen to hawk their products? Did she win some sports championship I didn’t know about? It can’t be possibly true that she’s going get paid the most money ever. If true, hey Jen, about giving away some of that money not to cancer research but to sweatshops and child laboreres that Nike hires to make their stuff?
The idea of Jen Aniston representing Nike and speaking about her endorsing cancer research is laughable. First of all she is not an athlete. Second, she has been consistently never satisfied with her weight and always on a diet, looks anorexic (normal women in America don’t look like her). Third, she is a longtime smoker. What kind of cancer research is she promoting? It’s awfully sad for a person such as herself, who by the way made 1million $ an episode since 1995, want to work w/ an organization just to make herself look good. The only reason I respect Angie’s work in humanitarian effort ( and not Pitt yet) is because she has always confirmed that she is trying to educate herself in her hum work. Also, the Angie joined the UN when she was 25 and literally cried the day she became a goodwill ambassador at 26. Give me a break, this doesn’t seem to me that Jen aniston is passionate about Cancer Research, epecially when the article says that its the largest endorsement deal given by Nike. Nike, give the deal to a real cancer survivor like Lance Armstrong.
Nike employs 650,000 contract workers worldwide. The company was pressured to make a report on conditions in its factories. The report admits to widespread problems, particularly in Nike’s Asian factories - cases of "abusive treatment", physical and verbal, in more than a quarter of its south Asian plants. Between 25% and 50% of the factories in the region restrict access to toilets and drinking water during the workday. The same percentage deny workers at least one day off in seven. In more than half of Nike’s factories, the report said, employees worked more than 60 hours a week. In up to 25%, workers refusing to do overtime were punished. Wages were also below the legal minimum at up to 25% of factories. Michael Posner, the executive director of the organisation Human Rights First, described the report as "an important step forward" and praised Nike for its transparency
To the person that said Shiseido is crappy, um you obviously don’t know much about cosmetics. And why the comparison to Angelina? No wonder Jen can’t move on. Her fans won’t let her.
Perhaps Nike is attempting to target ordinary people who like to workout. The whole smoking thing is quite peculiar. However, the vast majority of people do not make the healthiest lifestyle choices. Most Americans are overweight and/or obese!

Gotta agree with Funny. Jen’s an inappropriate choice for a spokeswoman. She’s not known for any athletic ability, she’s a chain smoker and she has massive, unhealthy body issues. Also I agree with everyone who said a chain smoker promoting cancer research is hilarious.

I agree with Sarah. Hilarious……..A chain smoker advocating for cancer research. What a joke. Sad. And Nike……they are well known for having their shoes made in foriegn countries by children who should be in school getting an education.Awful.
