OlderJennifer Aniston Nike Ads
Rumors that Jennifer Aniston would be teaming up with sportswear giant Nike started to surface earlier this month. Some new evidence was just sent in, possibly sealing the deal.
A major NYC-based ad agency reportedly formed a team last month to work on Nike’s Fall/Winter 2006 campaign. While Aniston has not confirmed, the ad agency is still looking to book a slot for a Super Bowl commercial and run with an international ad campaign.
The big bucks (the most Nike has ever paid for an endorsement deal) is being offered to Aniston but she is looking to bring focus to cancer research in her deal with Nike. Nike is, in fact, offering Aniston full control over the charity portion of the deal — several donations to her favorite cancer research charities. Aniston has even suggested signing famous cancer survivors for the campaign including Sheryl Crow. Stay tuned…

NIKE sucks, they have crap shoes and they employ sweat shops. A NIKE+ Jennifer Aniston team up would be a joke. What market are they exactly trying to reach? The past-their-prime single woman market? At least Reebok got Scarlett Johansson who is young and fashionable, and has pretty much a teenage fanbase, the ideal market for Reebok. This is such a stupid ass idea. I guess they couldn’t find anyone better?
NIKE already sponsors Armstrong! The Lance Armstrong Foundation was initially sponsored by Nike. Jen is althetic and a strong role model. She has great legs too ! A superb choice for representative !!! Articulate, motivated, funny, beautiful ! WELL DONE JEN !!!

Why would Nike choose an old leathery faced woman as the face of their brand? This IS a bad idea, charity donations aside. Nike should keep their money and look for someone else if this is actually true. I actually thought this was a joke too at first.
Jen is not Angelina nor is Angelina Jen-the only thing that they have in common is they both had a relationship with Brad Pitt- Jen should first visit some cancer patients who smoked-then she should talk to Peter Jennings’ wife and look back at ads by Yul Brenner-Her godfather, Telly Savalas died of lung Cancer too (I think) She should sit in therapy groups with those who HAVE breast cancer, NOT the survivors. Last but not least she should visit the places around the world where NIKE is made- she should take notes (notes from my travels)Then and only then should she choose whether or not she wants to represent NIKE-
