OlderJon Voight Loves Shakira
Angelina Jolie’s estranged father Jon Voight sent a shout out to his grandkids Saturday, but it seems like absence makes the memory grow weaker — he royally screwed up one of the names. At the fourth annual BAFTA Tea Party (BAFTA is the Oscars for Brits), Voight was talking with a reporter on the red carpet when he decided to send birthday wishes to Maddox, Angelina’s five-year-old child. That went well, but then things took an ugly turn. Voight also sent well-wishes to "Shakira" — problem is, he was talking about Angelina’s 1 1/2-year-old daughter. Shakira is considerably older — 29. The correct name — Zahara. Close, but no cigar.
HAHAHAHA. What a terrible grandfather!! How could Jon Voight mistake SHAKIRA for ZAHARA? HAHAHAHA. Not a good way to fall under the good grace’s of your daughter… Do yourself a favor and watch the hilarious clip!

It is easy to sit in judgement on someone without knowing all the facts. To easy to bash AJ without knowing the full extent of why she is at odds with her father. AJ cares about people and thus her father must have hurt her deeply to cause such a rift. Maybe in time they will be able to mend their relationship. However, this is her private business and shouldn’t be played out in the media. People get sound bites and think they know the whole story. It fits in with their ignorant and bias view about AJ. AJ is a good, caring person. She is not a hypocrit but a human being just like the rest of us. She has been through a lot in her life and she has now gotten to the point where she has a sense of peace and purpose in her life. Critics that go from blog to blog with their racist, hate filled rant are only exposing the world to themselves. AJ is quite happy with who she is and frankly nothing you can say will change that. You can call her vile names to the end of the earth but at the end of the day she goes home to a loving spouse and three beautiful children. If her father is serious about mending the rift with AJ , he knows how to pick up the phone or drop a letter to AJ, he did it before. JV and Jamie are NOT on the outs that is a rumor and an outright lie. They have a normal relationship as father and son. If Angie is unforgiving, her brother can do nothing to sway her opinion of her father, even though brother and sister are very close. It must have hit a nerve because you responded. I daily work on my own life. I am far from perfect and therefore, I do not have the right to judge others.
