OlderJon Voight Loves Shakira
Angelina Jolie’s estranged father Jon Voight sent a shout out to his grandkids Saturday, but it seems like absence makes the memory grow weaker — he royally screwed up one of the names. At the fourth annual BAFTA Tea Party (BAFTA is the Oscars for Brits), Voight was talking with a reporter on the red carpet when he decided to send birthday wishes to Maddox, Angelina’s five-year-old child. That went well, but then things took an ugly turn. Voight also sent well-wishes to "Shakira" — problem is, he was talking about Angelina’s 1 1/2-year-old daughter. Shakira is considerably older — 29. The correct name — Zahara. Close, but no cigar.
HAHAHAHA. What a terrible grandfather!! How could Jon Voight mistake SHAKIRA for ZAHARA? HAHAHAHA. Not a good way to fall under the good grace’s of your daughter… Do yourself a favor and watch the hilarious clip!

No parent is worthy of seeing or interacting with a grandkid if they do not respect the mother or father. Why bring chaos and insecurityinto the life of children if you don’t have to. It is obvious the man didn’t show up for duty as a dad. What then qualifies him to be a grandad? Like the saying goes, having children does not automatically make you a good parent. More importantly, age is no indicator of wisdom. It just means you are older. If Jon Voight had any true love for his daughter and grandkids, he should have first asked the mother is it okay to send a gift and abided by whatever she said. Life is too short to deal with issues that you do not have to. Personally, I’ve never seen Angie as a person who would eat **** and ask for seconds. And by the way. It seems that James Haven does not exist in this Man’s eyes. He is the only son the man has. James Haven has also said he was disappointed in his dad. Where’s the outcry from that? Jon Voight has one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel. He should accept his the consequences of his vindictive actions and move on. Problem is, there’s nothing worth anything to move on with. No Marcheline, No James, No Angie, No grandkids. It was his choosing. He made his bed but he doesn’t seem to want to lie in it.
