Just recently we noticed our 5-yr old daughter’s breast looked a little unbalanced so she had to take a whole battery of bloodwork (thyroid, hormone tests etc), and a left-hand X ray to detect any growth abnormality. The blood work came back normal, but the X ray shows her bone age being 8-9 months advanced (who knows, she is 5 1/2 and they said it looks 6+3 months) so now we are referred to endicronologists! On a lighter note: my poor kids had to wait for 2 whole hours in the doctors office for the blood work (I had to take my younger son too) . After I had managed to entertain them during that time and the moment came for 2 nurses and myself holding my scared daughter down for the needle, and just the moment when I managed to relax her and the needle went in her little arm and us breathing the sign of relief, my Mr. "trooper until then" son (almost 3) on the stroller proclaimed loudly, "Mommy! I have to GO Pee Pee!!" Great timing LOL

I’m just going to put my 2 cents in about last night’s "firecrotch" inspired convo:Generally and usually I love reading all the posts and when gitane began that convo I was really interested to see where it might go because I totally agree with what she was trying to debate or discuss. However, as a fellow BAMZER (even though I lurk more than I post) I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed in where the convo went. It wasn’t so much the direction in which the convo went, it was more in how LONG it lasted. It was shocking and chuckle-inducing at first, then it just descending into something that I have to say should have been discussed in a private or closed forum, not a public one. I don’t know. I don’t think it’s going to cause the end of the world or anything, and don’t think that I’m a prude, a member of the moral police, or have something stuck up my anal region (teehee). I’ve lived and continue to live a quite colorful life. I just think the convo lasted longer than it should have. JMO
