LOVE those pics of Angie at dinner - what a wonderful union theirs is. Did anyone else find Brad’s ‘coming home at the end of the day,’ comment kind of old fashioned and sweet — haters will go…AHA! He’s domesticated Angie…I bet Angie likes that whole ‘Honey I’m home thing,’ for now…..pretty soon Brad will be doing it to her, as she’ll start her film. I bet it will be hard though.

I was drooling while watching the interview lol, he is so handsome; he looks so happy and content, I think that he is finally at peace with his life, he got a beautiful family, he loves been a father, he is doing great things to help others, he finally got the life that he wanted and it’s a great one.

"Aaron" was delivered, and my friend ask if I would cut the cord. Well the snippers (can’t think of the correct name) were put in my hand before I had time to say ok, and I just went for it, well before I connected everyone screamed STOP! I had almost mistaken his little wingy for the cord and was thisclose to being big news. I was reading an old Rolling Stone Interview that Brad gave in April 1997. Pitt, Jolie to be ’spending a lot of time’ in N.O.NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana (AP) — As residents work to rebuild their lives and homes a year after Hurricane Katrina, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be frequent visitors to the city observing the progress.They were in New Orleans on Thursday, though only Pitt appeared at an afternoon news conference to announce the winner of the design competition he started in April to rebuild hurricane-ravaged neighborhoods using environmentally friendly designs and construction."We’re going to be spending a lot of time down here," Pitt said.Preproduction for his next movie is scheduled to begin in November, and Pitt said he would be in New Orleans for much of January and February for filming.Around that time, he also hoped to break ground on the first phase of the neighborhood redevelopment project slated for a section of the devastated Ninth Ward, he said.The winning plan was submitted by Matthew Berman and Andrew Kotchen of Workshop APD in New York. It includes designs for six single-family housing units, 12 multifamily units, a community center and play area, and a pedestrian bridge leading from the neighborhood to the top of the levee.Pitt said the goal is to replicate the project in other parts of the city.The designs had to pass certain standards to account for future emergencies and they incorporated architectural influences found in many New Orleans homes, such as gabled rooftops over windows and doors.Pitt headed the jury of architects, city residents and others who decided on the top designs that use energy-saving materials such as metal roofing and recycled textiles. More than 100 individuals and architect firms submitted designs for the competition. Six finalists were announced in July, when Pitt got his first up-close look at the devastation left by Hurricane Katrina.Pitt said Thursday he’s still appalled — embarrassed even — that people in many New Orleans neighborhoods cannot return because of the lack of basic services like hospitals and schools."This is a social justice issue," he said. "In a catastrophe, you help the most vulnerable first, and we failed to do that."Pam Dashiell, a Ninth Ward resident who served on the committee that judged the designs, sat beside Pitt at the news conference. She said the rebuilding plan will likely urge residents to come back home."It’s the first real redevelopment project in the Ninth Ward," she said. My husband and I have adopted overseas as well as in the states. All I can say is that I’m glad Angelina is making overseas adoption acceptable in the media. Not that it wasn’t before, Mia Farrow and Josephine Baker has done this for years.I’m black/catholic and my husband is white/jewish. We adopted a black baby boy(it was such a short wait, it was as if they couldn’t wait to hand him to us) and a few years later we adopted a white toddler boy( the process was difficult and the process was crazy, but b/c my husband is white and the agency felt like the child will have someone to identify with) Both boys were adopted here in the States. Its crazy, its always going to be black and white. And just recently we adopted twin baby girls from Somalia(the process was much easier and shorter waiting period)Overseas adoption is quite a gamble and crazy at times.The orphanages are always trying to “sell” you more babies at once. All for money. Of course, not all orphanages are like this but the one we dealt was. Didn’t tell us that the baby we were interested had a twin and the minute we were told and saw her, we immediately knew we couldn’t have them live apart.With that being said, I appreciate what Angelina is doing in terms of being open to adoption but personally I have my gripes on the whole Brad/Jen thing. I know years later, I should let it go…
