A friend asked if I’d be there for the birth of her son (she and the dad had brokenup prior) and it was only she, me, the doctor and a helper. "Aaron" was delivered, and my friend ask if I would cut the cord. Well the snippers (can’t think of the correct name) were put in my hand before I had time to say ok, and I just went for it, well before I connected everyone screamed STOP! I had almost mistaken his little wingy for the cord and was thisclose to being big news. That said, it’s a beautiful amazing thing to be a part of which you are more than aware each time you help usher into the world a new life.jpf
