Brad Pitt in New Orleans

#1859 ReneeI agree — she’s friends with Jane PItt, supposedly, but Brad’s sisters have too much of their own life going on to put up with her nonsense so she isn’t friends with them and they’re her own age! Frankly, I think her going on and on about how close she is with Jane Pitt was just to dig at her OWN mother, and really isn’t any truer than anything else she spits out. Totally self-serving, and you notice the Pitts never stoop so low as to refute anything said about them in the tabloids. It’s only when Doug gets riled up enough HE’LL say something, but the parents — never. So, it was real easy for the X to paint this picture and let people believe it, just to hurt her own mother. # 1871 | remember da truth ————————————–I agree with this wholeheartedly. In all of the mags, in all of the press stuff on Maniston going back years — I NEVER heard her discussing Jane Pitt, or any of the Pitt siblings, wives and husbands — which given her propensity to discuss her marriage and Brad, it seems odd that she wouldn’t discuss his family. My feeling is she didn’t discuss them because she wasn’t truly close to them - I think she was probably her fake, warm self when she saw them, but other than that, I think whatever relationship that existed was no more than superficial. This IS a woman who was able to cut her own Mom off and not look bac, for over 10 years (never inviting her to her wedding even!) - and despite all the tabloid pablum about ‘dear old dad,’ she likewise wasn’t close to him either - they didn’t really know each other that well until really the last 7 years or so. She had resentment towards him for having another family, and for discouraging her about show business I read once. I think she only grew closer to him, because he Mom wasn’t on the scene - but even then, I don’t think their’s was a tight relationship. Point being, how is this woman going to be so close with the Pitt family, when she doesn’t know what it is to be close and form healthy relationships with her own??So yeah, I think it’s just as you describe, Mama Pitt’s relationship with her, much like most of the other dreck you read in the rags, is greatly exaggerated and/or downright false.Here’s what I think happened….In one interview Brad did, he said, and I quote - ‘Yeah, all my ******* are made at me right now.’ LOL! (Btw, I can’t believe Bradley didn’t get into more trouble for saying that - lol…but that just goes to show you, he did not, because at that time of his GQ article, the ‘triangle’ as set up by the VF piece had not been created yet - and for the most part, people thought Maniston had refused to have a family, and that Brad had been tricked essentially - recall the Eva ‘I’ll Have Your Baby Brad’ Longoria T-shirt??) — anyhoo, I digress. I think Brad’s family, particularly his Mom WAS mad at him — why?? Most likely because Jen had called her up and told her ‘her side’ of the story. I don’t know where I read it, it could have been a fan’s perspective, but someone once described Brad as perhaps not telling his family about his rocky relationship and marriage - how miserable it was, until it was all over. He may have confided in his bro’ - but that was it…I believe his Mom was in the dark, and that she heard about it, basically along with the rest of us.I think the story she heard mirrored Aniston’s VF piece - which was, Oh Mrs. Pitt, I really want to work it out - I want my marriage to work, but your son wants out, and there’s nothing that poor me can do about it - he’s got a thing for a co-star and he’s dumping me (insert, sobs and whines, and sniffles here). I think Aniston told her nothing of the 3 month separation one year, and the 6 month separation the next, and the problems in between.So for Jane Pitt, I think her pity for Jen Aniston at the time of the split, probably got the two of them closer than they ever had been before. I also think that perhaps because of the way the break-up was presented to Jane Pitt BY Aniston, perhaps Jane thought she could be instrumental at trying to help them ‘work through’ their problems, and maybe even change Brad’s mind. Hahahahah! Hence, Brad’s ‘All my ******* are mad at me right now,’ because when Brad was gone, he was GONE - he had probably started planning to leave well in advance of his mother even knowing about the split. I believe Mama Pitt was the LAST one to know, and by the time she caught wind, Brad was out the door and moving on. At that point, I think she thought she could be some sort of support system for distraught Aniston (and we know what a basketcase she was in the press, I’m sure she REALLY turned it on for mama Pitt.Jane Pitt probably thought the woman was suicidal, and that Brad had done this to her, so she was trying to be as supportive as she could. I don’t think Jane an Aniston were as close during the marriage and prior to the breakup, oddly enough.I’m sure in the months and year, since all this hit the fan, Jane Pitt has been enlightened quite a bit as to the REAL Aniston, and how she manipulated the press, and her to her advantage.

Hey Maria - I gave you a shout out earleir but I think you missed it, so again, glad you are feeling better. Yes, I am continually amazed at the information anti-fans drag in here. Thye must spend an awful lot of time looking for it, which only shows what truly nasty buggers they are. I don’t like Jen too much, but I sure as hell got better things to do than dredge the internet depths looking for more negative press on her. I’m pretty sure she’s hanging herself, so I don’t bother. If these B&A haterz are so sure Brad & Angie are on the verge of imploding, they why do *they* bother? Because, it goes beyond normal dislike and into the scary territory of obsessed stalker.

Cool article Maniston! Braddy and Angie are the curent IT couple and they have the IT factor right now. I realize this is subject to change, but I think the best way for them to hold onto it longer is to NOT do any projects together for a year or two. I would love for them to just make successful movies on their own for a bit, taking turns supporting each other while fiming (and they already do that) then do something really spectacular together. I think given the right vehicle (NOT Atlas Shrugged, NOT MAMS II) they could burn up the screen in another action-adventure-mystery-romance that has them trekking all over the world. Something dark in the vein of the Maltese Falcon, or something like that.
