Reese Witherspoon was spotted shopping this past Tuesday at preppy apparel retailer Santa Monica. The 30-year-old actress was also seen chatting up a mysterious man… More pictures in the gallery!

It was also announced yesterday that MGM studios will be moving forward with Legally Blonde 3 with the slug “Beauty and brains bring big laughs,” but without any mention of the presumably absent Reese.

I’m afraid that a “Legally Blonde” movie without Reese is like a twinkie without any cream filling. Useless! Granted, part 2 was awful, but can you imagine how much worse it would’ve been without her? I say, leave well enough alone.
