together, so matched. He was so mismatched with X and Angie has
never looked better with a partner than she does now.
This is a must read, if the Departed wins best pictue BP and X will be at the podium together… how uncomfortable for X. Plan B produced the movie.

The Oscars are still months away but the made-in-Boston thriller “The Departed” is at the top of every pundit’s list to score gold - and possibly cause red-carpet havoc!
Martin Scorsese’s drama about an undercover cop who infiltrates the Southie mob and a Southie mobster who infiltrates the ranks of the Boston cops, isn’t due to hit theaters until Oct. 6. But with Scorsese at the helm and a cast that includes Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Wahlberg and Matt Damon, it’s considered a shoo-in for a Best Picture nomination.
Still, Academy Award afficionados are pining for more - like a possible Brangelina brouhaha at the Kodak Theatre!
Here’s the deal: “The Departed” is a production of Plan B - the company that was started by Brad Pitt and his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. Although the couple is kaput and Brad has taken up with Angelina Jolie, Pitt and Aniston remain partners in Plan B.
So what would happen if “The Departed” were to be nominated for Best Picture? Would Brad bring Angelina to the Oscars, thus risking a possible red-carpet confrontation with the ex?
And what if, God willing, “The Departed” won? Would ex-spouses Brad and Jen ascend the podium together alongside Marty? Would Brad plant one on Angelina’s lips before rushing up to claim the gold?
“Would a violent and heated catfight erupt?” posts the Web site askmen.com.
“Needless to say, the paparazzi are likely rooting for ‘The Departed’ in the hopes of some juicy Oscar gossip and scandal,” adds askmen.
Not to mention ABC, which will televise the Feb. 25 festivities with Ellen DeGeneres hosting. Scandal is such a ratings booster!
As you may know, Aniston was reportedly livid when Brad cast his paramour Angelina to play Mariane Pearl in a flick based on her book “A Mighty Heart: The Brave Life and Death of My Husband Danny Pearl.”
It was a role Aniston had reportedly planned to take opposite her then-hubby when their company acquired the rights to the book about the Wall Street Journal reporter who was kidnapped and slain in Pakistan.
So do stay tuned. Unless you’ve got a better Plan B . . . .
On the promos I’ve seen on TV for the Departed, it is produced by: BRAD PITT not Plan B. Must have been one of the ones she let get away
You are right Brad Pitt, Brad Gray and some Graham guy… It would have made for great tv… I would have sat through the whole show to see that. I still hope BP and AJ are at the Oscars…

Don’t trust the Boston Herald on that one. Its the tabloid newspaper here in Boston. J. Maniston no longer has any ties to Plan B and that includes The Departed and Running with Scissors. Her name is also listed as producer on IMDB and that thing is notoriously wrong.

I swear the people that write this story are a bunch of stupid morons, Brad and the X are not partners in Plan B anymore, that partnership were disolved and the Company went to Brad. The X does not have anything to do with Plan B or the Departed anymore. Plan B is all Brad’s and his alone.

X got the house and BP got Plan B, that was part of the divorce agreement, so if his films or any films from Plan B get nominates, only BP’s name will be on that Oscar nomination, not X. Now X does has 2 projects from Plan B that she can get partial profit from it, so it’s only monetary attachment from Plan B with X, nothing more.
