Brad & Angelina: More Banksy Love
Here are some brand spanking new pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie getting in on the action late last week at the street art warehouse show for British artist Banksy (real name Robert Banks). can someone educate on the anatomy of movie making:—-
1)does anyone know the difference between producer and executive producer?
2) is producer the one who finances a movie?
3) what does a studio do?
4) how does paramount come into the picture?

Producer – Raises funds, coordinates how funds are spent…hiring of major film personnel and look into how the movie is distributed.
Executive – Producer: I think this is just one of those titles they throw around…..Sometimes, when Producers are trying to get money from people, they promise them an Executive producer Credit (usually people who finance movies aren’t given credits). What it boils down to is that the Executive producers aren’t really active in the day to day movie making process.
Studios – Think movie Lot, where you have all the things you need for the movie. Like Sound stage… and so on. Have you ever seen the making of a movie where the control the weather…make it snow one minute, then it rains, then there is a thunder storm….everything is in a controlled environment, that’s the responsibility of the studio. Those things are quite expensive, that’s why these Studios, Warner Bro, Paramount and Such are very weary about the kind of movies shot in their studios.
I hope the makes sense but if not, I can get you a more….well put together explanation.

In the TV side of the house , The Executive producers normally are the ones that are the series showrunners. The Tv series creater and/or ones who run the show are the executive producer. It is interesting how it is different from movies and TV.
It is interesting how TV and movie industry differ on this. In Tv the executive producers are normally the ones who created and run the show. The showrunner who handles all the day to day stuff is typically an executive producer. The boss of the production is usually a executive producer.
