OlderAngelina Jolie Does Charitable Work
There was a supposed rift between Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman after Scotland’s Daily Record quoted Kidman as saying, “It’s not like Angelina is any better than a nurse working in a hospital, but she’s getting the publicity for her contribution.”
Yesterday, The Daily Record admitted that Kidman never said those things about Angelina and apologized for “any upset caused.” Instead, Kidman’s publicist, Catherine Olim did release a statement on behalf of Nicole Kidman:
“Ms. Kidman has tremendous admiration for Angelina Jolie and her tireless, worldwide charitable work, as well as for the work of countless less well known volunteers in areas of need around the world.”

Emails group can be deadly? Over-reacting much? Contrary to what you think, our lives do not revolve around BP and AJ….we have other things going and since we have made friends here, we’d like to share some parts of our lives with being ridiculed for it. A good example why some of feel this email group is a nice respite from JJ is because of what happened the past few days, when one of the fans…..actually two of them were horribly mocked for something serious. I don’t know what kind of email group you were in but I assure you (not that I feel the need to) that the one we have formed here is nothing like that has no murderous intent. Another thing…..although, I DO NOT agree with Ugly feet’s post because I think it’s a bumch of crap, I do appreciate that she seems a little mature than the average non-fan (or whatever). What I don’t appreciate is some of the horrid posters that come on Jared spewing hateful nonsense. Lastly, I don’t know why you feel the need to tell us when or how often we should chat.
That whole email business is a good way to avoid people like you because your views are not appreciated. I’ve been a part of email clubs and it’s deadly. They should really set up weekly or daily chatrooms. That would be much better.

While I’m sure you meant this statement as being supportive of our efforts, the way it comes off is as a backhanded compliment. Compliment us to our faces and then slap us when our back is turned. What we do is our business and I don’t recall anyone asking you for your advice. If you weren’t invited to join or if you didn’t ask to join, then butt out. See, it’s not just haters who’s opinions I don’t appreciate. I don’t like buttinskies either.
As for the nature of e-mail groups, I’ve got a group that I’ve belonged to for more than 13 years. That’s due to the fact that were all respect each other as people and therefore we respect each other’s opinions and differences. We have had one fight in those 13 years that was the result of a personality conflict between an old member and a new one. The newbie was told to get lost because we didn’t need anyone in our midst who was a troublemaker.
The trick to a successful e-mail group is to get to know the people BEFORE you form a group or invite someone into the group. Those of us who CHOSE to get together in the e-mail group obviously feel as if we’ve been able to get to know each other over the course of the last 14 or 15 months. Perhaps the groups that you belonged to failed to do that. Or maybe YOU were the problem. Afterall your post proved you are quite adept at belittling put-downs masked as friendly advice.

Actually Ben I’m more in the real world than you. I work for a nonprofit and volunteer for several more. Believe me buying a porsche would set off so many alarms, that the regulators would be knocking at your door–especially if it were Brad and Angelina. You could, however, buy a porsche to auction it off for money, but most nonprofits would first try and see if they couldn’t get someone to donate it. Yes it is possible to steal from a nonprofit, to use the funds for personal gain, but I have a feeling Brad and Angie wouldn’t and don’t and I also have a feeling that the foundation is probably under scrutiny because of who they are. Same with Bill Gate’s foundation. The more people there are like you–out to get you for no other reason than they don’t liike you–the more scrutiny a foundation or NPO gets. That is real life.

and that’s what did it. well, one of the things. they made such a show of how “together” they still were, brad does this interview and then SLAP right across the face with a separation. brad and x knew what was coming–i can’t imagine she took watching that DS interview well–but golden couple fans got the **** knocked out of them and they haven’t recovered yet.

Sorry…I loved me some Spike! The only thing I’m really bitter about is how they had Buffy dump Spike after Riley came back to town. After she tells him it’s over she DELIBERATELY walked away from him…AND INTO THE SUN!!! Beeyotch! Damn…that **** was cold.
BTW - Another funny Marsters story - Do you remember the show where Buffy was invisible and she goes over to Spike mausoleum for some nookie? Well, Marsters had to do the whole thing butt nekkid…which, frankly, I would’ve paid money to see!…or as he put it, “It was just me and my sock.” BUT…the day he had to do that shoot he said he kept noticing how there seemed to be an awful lot of extra people around that day. Actually, it was extra WOMEN. Women who wouldn’t normally be on set while a scene was being shot - like…the lunch cart ladies…and the wardrobe assistants…and women from the production office. I was ROTFL when I heard that. Lord knows he’s certainly got a body to rival Brad’s! The first time I ever saw Marsters with his shirt off and that sick pack I was like, “Damn…who knew he was hiding THAT BODY under that black leather trenchcoat!” Yummy…love that Spike.

You’re better off finding information on a different site. The Brangelina fans on here are absolutely nuts, and cannot be civil to anyone who does not think their way. Anytime anything is said that is remotely negative about Brad or Angelina, they become vicious. Look at some of their posts…I’m going through withdrawal because I haven’t read anything about them today. They have no lives, so they come on here to live through Brad and Angie. They think that there is only one person (Ugly Feet, Sarah, Patti, and I think Ben is on his way too) that can possibly think differently than them, so they make up this story that they are one person. You must be the Japanese personality coming out..LOL. I’ve already had a comment of theirs deleted by the leader because they are so rude and hostile. It is exactly how you said in Japan, only the lower class people are great fans of Brad and Angelina.
