OlderAngelina Jolie Does Charitable Work
There was a supposed rift between Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman after Scotland’s Daily Record quoted Kidman as saying, “It’s not like Angelina is any better than a nurse working in a hospital, but she’s getting the publicity for her contribution.”
Yesterday, The Daily Record admitted that Kidman never said those things about Angelina and apologized for “any upset caused.” Instead, Kidman’s publicist, Catherine Olim did release a statement on behalf of Nicole Kidman:
“Ms. Kidman has tremendous admiration for Angelina Jolie and her tireless, worldwide charitable work, as well as for the work of countless less well known volunteers in areas of need around the world.”

bill gates and warren buffet put their contribution into their own foundation. their purpose is to have a personal guidence of where the money go. bill gates foundation poured a lot of money into africa for child immunization. . had bill gates given the money to , for example UNCEF, the money might have channelled into education or books. However, bill gates wanted to emphasize immunizations, therefore, contribution to his foundation and have a hand where the money goes directly is the best way to do. go read some articles about bill gates and warren buffet.Every year, the non profit has to file a tax return, detailing income and expenses. any deviation from the regulation will lose the tax exempt status.

Amen to that! I firmly believe that X couldn’t be on the rebound from Brad, too. In order to be “on the rebound” she would’ve had to have had actual feelings for the man to begin with. All he ever was to her was a quick-trip to success and mega-stardom. She went from being just another cast member on Friends and “the haircut” to be THE ONE EVERYONE TALKED ABOUT. Without Brad she’d still be sleeping with producers and casting directors to get a movie-of-the-week deal.
Me again! I absolutely do believe Brad could have gotten choked up, NOT because of maniston, but because of Angie & Mad — I think at that point, trapped in that marriage — he probably felt kids and babies were such a long ways off for him…it just had to be extremely difficult. I’ve looked at Brad from that time period — when he was promoting Troy in Cannes w/ X for instance, and that’s the only time I truly felt he looked tired and drawn and just not good. I can only imagine the stress. The man was living a lie basically. Trapped between a rock and a hrad place and wondering how he was going to extricate himself — meanwhile he’s seeing AJ is in Cannes, and he’s missing her and Mad…what a nightmare.
You know…to this day, I have not watched the ‘choked up’ interview — I just couldn’t take it. You guys know how I get. I can’t even watch the happy stuff most of the time, I’ve yet to see the NewOrleans blushes (does he REALLY do this, when AJ is mentioned??) Hee. So cute.

I’m trying to follow this conversation that has been up for a while now and i really can’t understand what’s the point there.Fans of Aniston blaming Angie for the break up of Brad and Jen,and BAMZS fans blaming Jen for the same thing.Fans of Aniston claiming that Angie’s humanitarian work is not so important and BAMZS fans trying to prove otherwise.When will this stop?It’s been 2 years now since Brad and Jen have divorced.They have moved on.Brad has found love and affection in this beautiful family he created with Angelina and Aniston is living her life with another man.They were not the first couple that seperated and won’t be the last.They did moved on,why can’t we?
Angelina Jolie is a woman who could just stay in her luxury home,caring for her career,her hair,her make up and her red carpet appearences and just being a star.Wouldn’t that be easy?Noone would blame her then.But she chose to travel all over the world,in dangerous places like Darfur or Sierra Leone trying to comfort the pain of people who were not as lucky as she was.She can’t save the world and she is probably not doing more than other humanitarians.But she is there,and for those people even a hold of their hand could be a great relief.She is just doing SOMETHING.How many of us can claim that?I don’t think that anyone should defend her for being HUMAN.

You’re better off finding information on a different site. The Brangelina fans on here are absolutely nuts, and cannot be civil to anyone who does not think their way. Anytime anything is said that is remotely negative about Brad or Angelina, they become vicious. Look at some of their posts…I’m going through withdrawal because I haven’t read anything about them today. They have no lives, so they come on here to live through Brad and Angie. They think that there is only one person (Ugly Feet, Sarah, Patti, and I think Ben is on his way too) that can possibly think differently than them, so they make up this story that they are one person. You must be the Japanese personality coming out..LOL. I’ve already had a comment of theirs deleted by the leader because they are so rude and hostile. It is exactly how you said in Japan, only the lower class people are great fans of Brad and Angelina.

I take total offense to your remarks Ms. Patti. I have very close friends in Japan, and I resent the term ‘low class’. When people come to this site and have ‘constructive’ opinions, they we in turn deal with them with ‘constructive’ feedback. Angie Sick: I don’t know where you’re getting your information from. I think people have been saying horrid things about Angie & Brad that you feel are true. I’m sorry you feel that way, but if you indeed said that only the lower class like Angie and Brad, then I feel very sorry for you, as this is so untrue. As I said earlier I have very good friends in Japan, who are Japanese and who I would NEVER deem low class. It makes me sad that some Japanese are still using the ‘class’ system.

the crumbling of the “experiment” is so fascinating. it’s like lining up dominoes and watching them fall in an elaborate pattern that resembles x’s broken promises. i’m amazed that brad didn’t get out sooner. can you imagine the trouble he could’ve saved himself and angie?
To those who commented, I have been a member of email groups before and it was deadly becasue of the amount of email I recieved, you see? I have also belonged to groups which met on regular chat nights and it was fun, fun fun.
By all means enjoy your group. I’m sure it will be fun & successful because you guys know who’s in it. Heck some of my coworkers are planning a Brangelina Film Festival. Boooooo!!!! I can’t stand Angel. Boreanaz is a hack. He’s beyond wretched. I’m Spuffy all the way! Buffy and Angel were beyond boring. That whole Romeo & Juliet tragic love stuff was beyond sickening. As Spike used to say, “Angel is nothing but a great, bloody Pooftah!” Angel was 300 years old and his maturity level was that of a 17 year-old boy. I liked Angel a little better when he lost his soul, but as my sister said, they had to have Angel lose his soul at regular intervals to make him interesting! They didn’t have that problem with Spike because Marsters swaggered into every scene like he owned the joint!
Here’s an informal Buffy poll: What was your favorite episode? I’ve got a bunch, but I’ll go with “Something Blue” from season 4. It’s shortly after Spike has been chipped and Willow is still trying to figure out magic. She cast a spell that was meant to make Buffy forget about the frat boy who slept with her and dumped. Instead everything she wished bad on someone comes true. She said something like Buffy spends so much time with Spike she might as well marry him. Then they quick-cut to Giles’s apt. and Spike is proposing to Buffy. So Buffy and Spike spend the rest of the episode playing kissy-face and giggling and basically nauseating Giles and Xander. When the spell is broken, then Spike and Buffy are disgusted that they’d been all over each other and practically had sex in front of Giles. It’s hilarious. Deinitely one their best episodes.
