OlderAngelina Jolie Does Charitable Work
There was a supposed rift between Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman after Scotland’s Daily Record quoted Kidman as saying, “It’s not like Angelina is any better than a nurse working in a hospital, but she’s getting the publicity for her contribution.”
Yesterday, The Daily Record admitted that Kidman never said those things about Angelina and apologized for “any upset caused.” Instead, Kidman’s publicist, Catherine Olim did release a statement on behalf of Nicole Kidman:
“Ms. Kidman has tremendous admiration for Angelina Jolie and her tireless, worldwide charitable work, as well as for the work of countless less well known volunteers in areas of need around the world.”

Being mature than the other non-fans doesn’t really take that much, but I disagree with you in a way because every time Ugly Feet come on here, she’s complaining about how we are more or less idol-worshipping bamzs without thinking, which is contrary to what we actually do here. Her obsession is merely cloaked in a different form and her comments are just as obnoxious as some of the other non-fans.

says that Brad and Angie “denied” their relationship. WHEN and
WHERE do you EVER see them saying that no, they are not in a
relationship????? You DON’T. They said, when they were just
begining to see each oher, that they didn’t know where it was
going. Isn’t that NORMAL? Don’t most people take a bit of time

But then again, Sarah says Brad “needs” to answer these things,
so maybe she felt that silence about a personal relationship was

A big thank you to the Jolie-Pitt for establishing their charitable organization and donating 2 million dollars to two worthy organizations. You can call it PR or whatever, but BP/AJ have been consistent in their devotion to helping others and have inspired me to give to various organizations the amount that I can. Haters want to see this as bragging about helping other because it puts to shame a lot of the selfish, self-involved celebrites who only think about their careers and their next photo op. A big shout-out to all the BP/AJ fans out there and do not let the haters distract you. They are just a bunch of whiny cry babies and if you respond back to their negative comments or write the truth about their “poor Jen” they cannot handle it. I admire BP/AJ for living life on their own terms and not letting the negativity surrounding them get to them. Peace.

hey, was just reading the post where someone said they wished
Jonny Lee Miller would go back to London. I like JLM, saw him in
Mansfield Park, and while he seems nice enough, there was a
certain blandness to him. I think he is a good, solid friend to
Angie, but not exciting enough to be inspiring or passionate about
once the inital infatuation rubs off. So then I had a funny thought
– what if he and X got together!! I’ve been trying to think of
someone who would be a good fit for her. I still think John Stamos,
because he’s an ex-TV star with grander ambitions, also, but he’s
likable and good-looking and so might make her feel good about
herself. But JLM — she’d get the added kick of thinking she had
taken something from Angie, while Angie can just laugh and
remain friends with him.

One of the things I see Brad brought to the table is his expertise in handling things. My impression on him is that he is willing to use the expert. Angie, from what I read, she didnt even use any agent, publicist, etc. Sometimes, when you are in a certain income bracket, it’s good to use more professional people. I am not saying she could not handle things well. But sometimes there can be a better way to achieve even more optimum result. Their hiring of this philantropist counselor (Trais?) is a wise move.
For example,
Setting up a foundation is the best way. In this case, the money went directly into the foundation. Had she received the money personally, she had to report it as income. Sure, she can deduct that 100 % of the contribution. But it is never a 100% of recoupment of tax benefit. She still had to pay tax on this amount. As a result, her total cash out is 1M given to charity + 550K on income tax=1.55M
Now, with the money went directly into the foundation, the org will be exempt from income tax. That is the reason why I keep saying the IRS is watching very carefully and making sure the foundation is donating to the right org, otherwise this foundation will lose the exempt status. In other words, no one dare monkey around particularly this is a high profile transaction
