Now about Ben and yeahright, I fear you give them too much credit…..these people are gonna come back saying “why do they have to tell us about it? Why can’t they give quietly?” One thing we have to learn is there is no reasoning with people like that….they will find a way to criticize.

I like the fact that they research the organisations that they give their money to. Remember Angie attended a meeting while she was in Paris that must have had something to do with DWB, because as she left the meeting, she had a book that was written by a doctor that also belonged to DWB. Good for them, and I know more goodwill will come their way.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have created a new charitable foundation to aid humanitarian causes across the globe, a spokesman for the couple tells PEOPLE.

The newly formed Jolie/Pitt Foundation is giving away $ 2 million – $1 to the Global Action for Children and $1 million to Doctors Without Borders, to help families affected by HIV/AIDS and extreme poverty.

“Angelina and Brad are committed to using their resources to help the world’s most vulnerable people,” their spokesman, Trevor Neilson, tells PEOPLE. “These two organizations are focusing on crises that receive far too little attention and Angelina and Brad are happy to do their part to help.”

Jolie and Pitt are no strangers to global activism, and they have traveled together to Pakistan, among other countries, as part of Jolie’s work as a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. High Commission for Refugees.

Jennifer Delaney, the U.S. director for Global Action for Children, expressed gratitude for the donation, and told the Associated Press: “Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt not only care, but more important, are taking concrete action to address the fact that there will be 20 million children orphaned by AIDS by 2010, and millions more orphaned by tuberculosis, malaria and conflict or whose parents are sick and dying.”

WASHINGTON - Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are giving gifts of $1 million each to two humanitarian organizations, an adviser to the couple said Wednesday.

The recipients are Global Action for Children and Medecins sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders.

“In the most troubled parts of the world - places that much of the world has abandoned - MSF is always there,” said Jolie in a statement issued by Trevor Neilson, the couple’s philanthropic and political adviser. “I have seen these brave men and women working in war zones and horrific conditions and I deeply admire them.”

Jolie, who co-starred with Pitt in the 2005 film “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” is a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. High Commission for Refugees.

Jennifer Delaney, U.S. director for Global Action for Children, expressed her thanks for the gift from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.

“Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt not only care, but more important, are taking concrete action to address the fact that there will be 20 million children orphaned by AIDS by 2010, and millions more orphaned by tuberculosis, malaria and conflict or whose parents are sick and dying,” she said.

Delaney said the vast majority of these children are in the care of extended families and communities that need support to overcome the ravages of HIV/AIDS and poverty.

I did indeed notice that AG. :D Wheeeeee!! Their foundation, their kids, their love, what a UNION! Love them. Maniston should at this point be sitting back mouth agape, shaking her head in wonder and just recognizing that she was a fookin’ anvil around Bradley’s neck dragging him down and hog-tying him to the TV - he’s flying now with Angelina, literally and figuratively. God bless em’ both.

will break up sometime before Maddox is an adult, and Maddox’s
