OlderAngelina Jolie Does Charitable Work
There was a supposed rift between Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman after Scotland’s Daily Record quoted Kidman as saying, “It’s not like Angelina is any better than a nurse working in a hospital, but she’s getting the publicity for her contribution.”
Yesterday, The Daily Record admitted that Kidman never said those things about Angelina and apologized for “any upset caused.” Instead, Kidman’s publicist, Catherine Olim did release a statement on behalf of Nicole Kidman:
“Ms. Kidman has tremendous admiration for Angelina Jolie and her tireless, worldwide charitable work, as well as for the work of countless less well known volunteers in areas of need around the world.”

Since the world knows Pitt unloaded Maniston like the rotten dried out EGG that she is, and went after Angelina like a heat seeking missile, adopting her kids, giving them his name, and having a baby with her, then proceeding to spend almost every waking minute with her for the last two years - SOLID (unliek the 6 MONTH breaks he was fond of with ‘The Man’-iston…bwahahaha!) you’re point…if you can call it that…is moot.

Maniston, I don’t think Brad, himself, will be campaigning, that is a bit unseemly, LOL — usually the studio itself, decides to do the legwork on that. Brad considers this to be an ensemble work, and was very much blown away by the other performances himself — so I doubt he will take out ads begging for Oscar….now if the studio wants to do it - I don’t think he’ll stop them, he’ll be very grateful and humble about it…
…but I think he’s at the point in his life if it happens, great - if not, his life is still fantastic w/ his babies and Angie in it, along with projects that mean something to him.

It was positively Beatle- esque, and you can’t even imagine what must be going through his mind when he sees schoolgirls and grandmothers crying and screaming at the mere sight of him.
After the screening, Pitt slipped out the back way, presidential candidate-style, accompanied by security men the size of offensive linemen. He was clad in black from head to toe, looking every inch the movie star.
This is Brad Pitt’s world. He’s in love with one of the world’s most desirable women, he has a new baby, untold riches, insane fame and serious talent. He should be nominated for an Oscar for his work in “Babel.” You might want to trade places with him for a day — but to have that life, that constant scrutiny, that trapped-in-a-golden-cage existence? To be unable to experience life without the whole world watching? No thank you.

the problem with your logic is that she didn’t always earn $16mil per film. as a matter of fact, MAMS & the Tomb Raider films are her highest paydays. but thanks so much for researching the extent of her charitable giving which totals in the millions. that’s pretty damn impressive! (the giving, not your research)
and as for angie living in the lap of luxury. yes, she does. she’s no stranger to the finer things, but she’s also no stranger to roughing. when she’s in the field working with the u.n. her accomodations are the same as the other volunteers–plus she pays her own way. a couple of years ago, her home in cambodia didn’t have indoor plumbing, but she lived there with maddox to keep him exposed to his culture and so that she could contribute to the community.

I like how people go and research Angelina’s “charity” works (as you put it), with the intentions of belittling them. What do you care? Have given a dime to charity. Spend your time helping and not hindering. No matter what you say about her, she has given her time and money. Have you?
Instead of trying to block the help she’s given (no matter how large or small you believe it to be) why not offer your own help and solution. do you even help at your local ‘Boys and Girls’ Club? Ar you part of “The Big Brother” program? If you answer, then SHUT THE H*LL UP about anything Angelina has done to help others. None of what she gaves affects your financial statement in anyway. I’m sure the recipients are extremly grateful for her help and all others who have helped.

I have never read that Brad Pitt said something bad about anyone, including his ex fiance who cheated on him and hurt him deeply. He is this kind of person.
In Angelina’s case, the action speaks much louder than words. He adopted her children and had a baby girl with her. He shares his life with Angelina.
Noone can change the past and nobody knows the future, we have only today and today BRAD IS WITH ANGELINA AND THEIR CHILDREN!
To live in the past with “what could have been” and “how it was” is sooo waste of time! To keep on guessing the future and “hoping things might happen” are up to you.
Noone can reach to any point by comparing his x with his present lady in his life. He himself made a choice and we, all of us, are nobody to judge him.
Some would still hopelessly believe that Brad could have been better with his x. Brad was the only one who spent 7 years with his x and he is the only one who knows who is better for him and whom he is better for, not us including the fans of him and Angelina.
x herself said that until the official separation, there was no cheating which means the relationship of Brad and Angelina didn’t start, at lease physically!
It seems that Angelina has been through a lot, now she has settled down in her life. She is trying to do good things for the others who need. I do have a respect for her and the people like her
As long as Brad and Angelina are happy together and want to be together, they are not going to ask any of us our point of view, right?

Hey everyone that expressed your good wishes for Elena, she appreciates it. She really is a remarkeable woman. I passed on your questions as to what we could all do collectively for her, she said any random acts of kindness that you can give to a stranger or anybody in your life will be the best way to honor her boys.
She says she goes between being pissed at God to being grateful that she had the years she did as their mother.
Her older son was a medical student and planned on working with Doctors without borders upon qualification, she plans on doing some work for them in some capacity as a way to honor his memory.
A we have people denigrating Angie’s effort, what they miss is the impact she makes on some of her fans to want to make a ontribution, no matter how little.
Elena said yesterday that her admiration for Angelina was how she was able to chanel the pain she was feeling into being a service to humanity and in so doing was able to find herself and her path to happiness, and she is hoping to volunteer for some organisations.
Instead of bitching about Angelina’s life, why don’t you do some thing for someone else and if you already do, good for you. The people that ***** the most about are Angie are the ones surprised that she is this popular and that the media did not break her with all their labeling, she rose above all that and is having the best revenge by being happy and giving to humanity.

Hopefully the studio handles his oscar campaign well. He is in an ensemble cast so, Best Supporting is the best fit for him. Brad has a lot going for him, he may not have to do a whole lot of campaigning. I think some of these award are more popularity contest than any thing. Brad should not have alot to worry about, he has given a superb performance and he is well liked in the film industry.
PS: I saw a trailer for The Last King of Scotland starring Forest Whitaker, and I hope he gets a nomination/wins for Best Leading Actor. He portrays Ugandan President Idi Amin.
