not go through but that by the time Maddox grows up, Pitt will be
long gone from his life.
I think it’s a safe bet to infer that ANY relationship, regardless if
it’s in Hollywood or not, is unlikely to last 18 years, or in Maddox’s
case, 13 years from now. It’s like when a horse is named favorite
for the Kentucky Derby, and some wise guy always says, He won’t
win! Well, aren’t you a genius! You have 19 chances to be right,
and only one to be wrong, but you’ll brag like crazy afterward,
won’t you? Same here — Ted has more chance to be right than
wrong, so it doesn’t matter he has no info, he just wants to be
able to say sometime in the future, “I told you so”. Big deal. He’s
basically announced that he knows nothing and is making

I think you do Brad a diservice with your comment. Whether he and Angie last is debatable since this is Hollywood–I would love it if they would defy the odds and grow old together!
BUT regardless of whether they last, I don’t see Brad cutting Maddox out of his life. I think he is Mad’s father and he will be there no matter what!

BRAD AND JENNIFER ARE READY FOR A BABY
EXCLUSIVE

THE New Year may have barely begun but Friends actress Jennifer Aniston has no doubt that 2004 will launch a fantastic new chapter in her life.

This month marks the final episode of the comedy series which made her name but as she waves goodbye to the show, she is preparing for her next role - motherhood.

And she is thrilled by the prospect. Hardly able to contain her delight at the thought of having her first child with her husband and Hollywood’s sexiest actor, Brad Pitt, she says: “We’re ready to dive in!”.

A smile lights up her face and, for the first time since the couple wed three years ago, she seems comfortable talking about starting a family.

“I have had enough time to wait for motherhood. That’s next,” she says.

“It was all about letting Friends finish. I really wanted that part of my life to come to a close and then have something to do.”

Jennifer and Brad are in such demand that they spend weeks apart, often filming in opposite corners of the globe.

And her fear of flying makes it even harder for them to spend time together on set.

So Jennifer, 34, is determined that she will remain a stay-at-home mum for the first year of their baby’s life.

“I love an excuse to stay at home,” she admits. “I am going to try not to work that much.

“I have so many girlfriends who can do it all but I know I’ll want to be around for a lot of it.”

She admits that Fight Club pin-up Brad has been nagging her to make him a dad but, until now, her career had always come first.

Last year, work commitments meant Jennifer was in Los Angeles while Brad filmed the £100million epic Troy in Malta and Mexico. In fact, since Hollywood’s golden couple were married in Malibu in July, 2000, they have struggled to even find the time to renovate their £10million 30s mansion.

While workmen spent the past 18 months putting the final touches to the elegant property, which has a luxury gym and a wine cellar, the couple have been living in Jennifer’s more modest bachelorette apartment.

But now, their house - with ample space for a nursery - is ready and the only thing that could stand in the way of them starting a family is mother nature.

“The house is done and we have to get furniture but we’re in,” says Jennifer. “We have a house that is truly a combination of both of us and it’s beautiful. Next to making a kid, the house will be the second-best thing we ever did.”

Jennifer says that while Brad, 40, is the most lusted-after actor in Hollywood, she isn’t worried about the adulation he gets.

He was recently voted the Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine but she trusts him implicitly and says that she doesn’t get jealous when he strips off for sizzling sex scenes.

“Brad’s unbelievably loyal,” she says. “We have trust and when you have that, thankfully, it’s a wonderful feeling not to ever have to deal with jealousy.

“I’m not that kind, really. When I was younger that sort of thing did bother me but I don’t feel like that these days.

“I know it’s a natural feeling every now and then but I don’t feel that with Brad.”

And how does Brad feel when the boot is on the other foot and he sees his wife in romantic clinches with her leading men?

“He loves it - he laughs,” she says with her trademark throaty giggle.

Then she pauses and adds: “Well, I mean he doesn’t love it. But I don’t think anyone loves watching their partner make out with someone else. It’s just weird. I have certain friends who won’t even watch.”

Jennifer, whose Rachel haircut was the most copied style of 1996, says she owes her success to Friends, the series which topped the ratings for a decade before running out of steam.

She first appeared on TV screens as Rachel Green in 1994. She was the Friend all the girls wanted to emulate and all the men wanted to take home.

Along the way, she has also won critical acclaim in films such as Good Girl and Bruce Almighty. But Friends is the show which runs through her veins.

As the sitcom took off, the million dollar per episode cheques put her among Hollywood’s big earners, while the exposure brought her to the attention of Brad, who asked his agent to set up a date.

Now the realisation that the show that made her a star has come to an end makes her tearful.

When she was recently interviewed by Oprah Winfrey on the subject, the actress admits it all became too much and she broke down.

“It’s hard,” she says. “It’s just 10 years of this incredible group of people and it’s weird that it’s ending because it doesn’t seem like it really needs to…”

Today, she is a little flustered, arriving 15 minutes late for our interview though still looking immaculate.

WEARING a chic, black open-neck shirt, trousers and boots she could have walked straight off a film set.

In fact, her stylish appearance is a world away from her latest role in Along Came Polly - released in the US next Friday - which calls for her to look “messy”.

“Looking good is always a nice thing but with this movie, one of the things I remember thinking when I saw it, was ‘God, I don’t look very good.’ But I was supposed to look a little dirty, a little off a bit, like Polly maybe stinks a little bit. That musky sort of smell.”

In the film, Jennifer’s character is a free spirit who hooks up with a conservative control freak, played by Ben Stiller, and educates him in the art of having fun.

The film includes scenes where Polly introduces him to spicy food - regardless of his chronic indigestion - and teaches him to salsa dance and bungee jump.

But she confesses that she had to take salsa lessons herself to prepare for the part and reveals that Brad is actually the snakehips in the family.

Her eyes light up as she says: “Brad’s a great dancer. He was always one left turn away from a Backstreet Boy, I tell you.

“I can just see pictures of him with the bandanas, doing a little bit of a dance.”

Entertaining is something that now comes easily to Jennifer, too. It was her way to cope with an unsettled childhood.

She was born in Sherman Oaks, California, in February 1969, the daughter of actors John and Nancy Aniston.

The family spent time in Greece and later moved to New York when John landed a role in a daytime drama.

BUT when Jennifer was nine, John dumped Nancy for another woman. That had a profound effect on the youngster, who hid her heartbreak by acting the clown.

“It was a survival technique for me,” she recalls. “I had parents bickering but if you can make somebody laugh, you can light up the room.

“At school, too, I was the class clown and always sent into the hallway.”

Jennifer was raised in New York by her mother and joined a drama group at 11. At 15, she was accepted by the city’s High School For The Performing Arts - the Fame school.

After graduating, she spent a year starring in off-Broadway plays and working in a burger bar. Craving the limelight, Jennifer headed to Los Angeles in 1990 and won minor roles before landing the part of Rachel in Friends, for which the 5ft 5in star lost 30lbs.

Throughout this, she was supported by Nancy but, sadly, they fell out spectacularly seven years ago, when Nancy published her book From Mother And Daughter To Friends, in which she spilled embarrassing details about Jennifer’s early life.

But now, as the star contemplates motherhood, she believes the time may be right for a reconciliation and that a grandchild will help heal the rift.

She says: “My husband doesn’t know my mother and that is weird because she was my life.

“There comes a point where you have to grow up and forgive. I look in the mirror and think: ‘Oh, my God, you’re Nancy. You’ve become her, so you may as well call her.’

“There comes a point where you have to grow up… and lighten up.”

My heart goes out to those who just cannot let the idea of the Golden Couple” go. JA should be proud she has such loyal Fans. I had no idea Brad’s departing from a relationship would have that type of effect on ppl. So much so that they cannot move forward in any sense of the word. What a powerful man he is. The sad part is that both he and Angelina seem to be basically good ppl. I thought they were great before and after they fell in love. I admire how they respected JA at the premiers and stood apart out of respect. More importantly, I cannot fathom ppl who would rather focus on a mom and dad and their three kids instead of the ppl they are helping. If Angie only gave a dollar of her income, that’s a dollar more than the ppl had. Let me try to put this in perspective for you ppl who just cannot focus on the big picture.

She has been there for three days without any help whatsoever. Tomorrow she and the baby will probably die. Somewhere in Africa a 2 year old is dying from Malaria because Quinine is not available in their country(not yet anyway). Despite all of this, somewhere in America someone is posting on a blog about the character of a woman who has chosen to try and eradicate the situations above. Somewhere in America, someone is posting on a blog hatred and disgust for a man who merely divorced one woman and moved on to another (a common occurrence in America). And last but not least, somewhere in America, terrorists tediously plan to kill thousands of Americans for no reason other than they are Americans. Yep Angie and Brad’s relationship should certainly take precedence over all of this. I admire them. I love their pics. But I bet they are more concerned with the situations above than they are with anything you Fanistons have to say

Angelina is no different than any other celbeirty giving her time. If you go to other celebs who give you will find the same priase from their fanbase. why don’t you spend time in other peoples fan sites and see how Angelina is like others. The media is doing all the yelling for her and why? Not even because ehty are interested in her works. All because the new man in her life is Brad Pitt and that she’s the mother of his kids. She really hasn’t done too much the past year because whe was pregnant. Most of her chrity work was done pre-Brad. brad could not help fall in love with this woman who’s live was full & complete before he came in the picture.

You may not yell about your activities, but the Boys & Girls club has the media & corporations do the required “yelling” to keep the money coming in.
