Had to skip to your comment. I truly understand it’s the parents to a certain degree. Even the best parent can have a misdirected child. Let’s look at AJ. Didn’t she say her mom was the best but what AJ had and I emphasize HAD an eating disorder, sex at early age, drugs, cutting, the list goes on but now she’s totally different. So I understand your point but it’s not always good parenting, good schools, etc.

I can only hope my boys grow up to be productive citizens b/c I’m doing everything that a good parent would do but it’s not promised. I’m just saying what all the professionals are saying and how the first couple of years are the most important so why not have him in school. Again JMO who’s to say I’m right or Wrong.

So-called “home schooling” at age 5 is not the same as home
schooling when the kid is 17.

This blog has seen too many comments by people who cloak their
dislike of Brad Pitt for divorcing Jennifer Aniston and being with
Angelina Jolie in “I’m-just-concerned” stuff. I make no apologies
for getting my hackles up. African Girl had a list the other
night–apoologies AG for me cribbing from it from memory:

They are bad parents who are with the kids too much and
use them as props;

They are bad parents who are not with their kids (gallery
openings, dinners out, etc.);

They drag their kids all over the world;

They are too holed up in Malibu–where ARE they?

They take too many movie roles; they take not enough
movie roles, are too fixated on their kids;

They never smile in pictures; their smiles to each other
must be FOR photographers’ consumption only (because why
would the hottest couple in existence smile at each other and look
like they want to hop in the sack?);

They donate money to African charities–what about the
U.S.?

They donate money to American charities–What showoffs!
Who do they think they are?!

Angie likes foreign-born children of color only;

Angie favors Shiloh because she is her biological child;

They are endangering Mad’s education by keeping him at
home and not with kids his age;

They are dragging him all over the world (Part 2).

As am I…weary to the bone tired of it.

Maddox at 5 and with all the exposure that he got from his worldly parents is far ahead of the game than any kid who had had “structure” could ever dream of. That alone is an edge that Maddox has.

Now, I don’t know about you CALIFORNIA SCHOOL SYSTEM but we had several people commenting about this way back in february and thus saying Angelina is doing a bad job….

then Angelinaand Brad go to Namibia with the kids in tow and guess what…

we find a picture of Maddox with several kids at an wild animal reserve. It is not like Maddox spent a month and half in the hotel with just adults. He interacted with kids while in Namibia…

please leave it to Brad and Angelina to decide what is good for their kids. Beside, you are on the outside looking in THROUGH THE PAPARAZZI LENS….

how dare you think they are failing Maddox when

Beside, dont you think they have childcare people looking at them like voltures because they are high profile and adoptees.

We are doing well… Caleb is enjoying school and his seizures have decreased significantly. He is enjoying playing soccer.. :)

Who cares if you think it’s fake or not. as Brad said I know my truth. And I’m not trying to get anyone to agree with me. That’s something I’ll leave up to you and the others who think inside the box. See one color and that’s it. Never willing to think for themselves or need someone to approve of their thoughts to feel like being apart of the team.

Sorry ladies didn’t mean to sound like I want Madd to be left alone without his parents. Just something I threw out there. I do know children need their parents.

Again thank you to the positive posters. I was commenting without looking at those military kids who had wonderful childhood memories, those other children who traveled extensively - I believe that was the Chemist or some other profession.

For a moment I wasn’t thinking out side the box so thanks Guli for showing me a better way at looking at the travel - as a great geography lession.

To all the other fans - your hate runs too deep for people you don’t know and also caring soo much for people you don’t know. But i guess that’s human nature.

Oh and EMI - yes people do leave their kids to go to work out of town and let their parents/grandparents watch them - that’s what family does and nothing is wrong with that. A family can be different just like AJ/BP family is different with the different races - who says it’s wrong to raise your kids like that. My family traveled alot while I was young, trying to get career on track, and my grandparents from both end watched and loved me when my family traveled and I felt the love just as if my parents were with me for those few moments when my parents weren’t there.

Anyway, it’s time for me to be a good parent to my kids and read them a book, talk to my teenager about his day at work and all the other things parents do.

Well I doubt that all the professionals agree and we have seen it the past that professionals come back years later and say they were wrong in what they told parents to do . Parents have to make the best decison they can base on what is going on in their lives. What may be good for your boys may not be right for Maddox.
