Jolie/Pitt Foundation Formed
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have formed the Jolie/Pitt Foundation to aid humanitarian causes around the world. The newly formed charitable foundation is giving away $1 million to the Global Action for Children and $1 million to Doctors Without Borders, to help families affected by HIV/AIDS and extreme poverty.
The U.S. director for Global Action for Children, Jennifer Delaney, said: “Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt not only care, but more important, are taking concrete action to address the fact that there will be 20 million children orphaned by AIDS by 2010, and millions more orphaned by tuberculosis, malaria and conflict or whose parents are sick and dying.”
The couple’s spokesman, Trevor Neilson, released a statement saying: “Angelina and Brad are committed to using their resources to help the world’s most vulnerable people. These two organizations are focusing on crises that receive far too little attention and Angelina and Brad are happy to do their part to help.”
And here’s a list of Brad and Angelina’s Banksy art purchases:
- $226,000: The “Picnic” painting depicts a white family of four merrily lunching under an umbrella on a red checked blanket while 15 starving Africans - including several children with distended bellies - look on.
- $75,000: A white bust with a bleeding bullet hole in the forehead - was a particular favorite of Jolie’s. “She went nuts for that one,” an onlooker told the mag. “She told [her baby daddy], ‘I must have that one.’”
- $75,000: Portrait of a man hit in the head with a custard pie.
UPDATE :: Added pictures in the galllery of the aforementioned Banksy art that Brad and Angelina purchased. Thanks, Susanne!

even when they do something good, reterded people still
search for the negative part. if brangie want to spend their
money for art pieces, it’s their bussiness. beside, art piece is an
investment. have you try to compare it with what chinnypoo
spent? she spent her money for body exercise’s tool. and it’s
been said that she has the highest amount on it. even higher
than madonna’s!! and for that you can say that it’s chin’s
******* business, ofcourse. brad and angie do not responsible
for the poverty in US. Go ask your stupid president to take care
of that! more or less, brangie do something to make this world
a better place. and i am really thankful for having those kind of
people in the world i live in. if you cannot do 1 per million of
what they do for those in needs, just shut the **** up!
Jolie/Pitt Foundation is an excellant way to help children, but remmber children needs water also,
I have excellant idea for Angelnia and bratt regards water and children.
I wish I had the resourses they do to make a difference. There is proverty here in the US also,
and it is hard to get a charity that these people can go to for help. If there is one I would like to know what it is and how to apply. I take people in all the time who are homeless, have no income or
just need a few months to recover from some major illness. I do not have any resource for extra money, I live on SSI and it’s not much.
I still try to make a difference and have nothing
but praise for anyone who is willing to try to make
a difference.
I commend them for their generocity. I have inherited a hospital from my father in Sierra Leone, West Africa and I am in search of help from any organization that is interested in helping the people of Sierra Leone. I understand that Angelina Jolie has visited Sierra Leone twice so she is aware of the struggles of the people there. I would like to work with her in the efforts of helping to bring peace and services to the people of Sierra Leone. My contact information is 209-938-8344, 1114 Silver Breeze Ct, Stockton, CA. 95210, yeeama@yahoo.com. I am looking forward to hearing from her. Thank you, Aisha Conteh

Dear Friends and Supporters,
My name is Rebeca Reyes and I?m a rising senior at the Henry Street
School for International Studies in Manhattan. Our school is small and
three years old and I?m proud to be a member of our first graduating
class. Over the past three years, I?ve gone from being focused on the world
directly around me to being a young woman curious about and ready to
explore the world outside the US and examine my part in that world. This
summer, I hope to embody our school?s mission to create internationally
focused students: I?m asking for your help to raise $2000 to go to
Morocco on a community service student summer study abroad program with One
World Now.
In my first two years in high school, I took advantage of all the
opportunities offered to connect our lives to the international world. I
joined the Model United Nations (MUN) team and represented Cambodia,
Estonia and South Africa at three MUN conferences at the United Nations. My
photographs of the Lower East Side were displayed at Starbucks through
a collaboration with One World Now. I was accepted to Loisida?s Acting
Program, allowing me to practice my acting skills and perform for fifty
people. Additionally, I completed all 120 required community service
hours by my second year of high school with the Jewish United Council
Elderly Services. Escorting elderly people in my neighborhood helped me
to connect their lives in New York with my grandfather?s experience in
the Dominican Republic.
I also knew I needed to develop my academic skills too. This year, I?ve
made a huge impact on my education: I achieved Honor Roll for the first
time in high school and scored a ninety five percent on my Spanish
Regents exam. I researched colleges at college fairs and am now planning a
college tour of Boston for my class in my free time. I was selected to
participate in College Now, through which I?ve taken Introduction to
Italian at Hunter College. I am now honored to have been selected to
participate in One World Now?s summer study abroad in Morocco.
I know that this opportunity will give me a vivid picture of the ideas
that so far, I have only studied in school. I want to be able to
compare my country to Morocco and examine how women are treated and how
student get their education compared to how we get ours. I want to know how
people get tested for HIV/AIDS and other medical issues. I will be
eating different foods and enjoying every moment. And when I come back
from Morocco, I will talk to students from different schools about my
experience.
I am asking for your help to raise the $2000 for the study abroad
program this summer to make my dream come true. Please learn more about
last year?s trip at this link. I hope that my blog entries will be up
there soon. With your help, they will be.

me a check made out to One World Now with ?Rebeca Reyes Morocco 2007? in
the Memo Line. You can send the check to me at the address below.

Does anyone know an address of this Foundation or a way to contact the foundation.
I have always loved Angelina Jolie and her family collection of children from around the world. I alays knew that she was much more than a gorgeous sex-goddess. She is very energetic, adventurous, athletic and brave. But more than that she is a kind, fun-loving humanitarian. She littlerally has a heart of gold. She has brought out the best in Brad Pitt. Although I have a couple of beefs with Brad. I think that he is a little weak and envious of her. He should revel in her glory and back her up not only in her fantastic artistic performances in all her movies but also in their personal lives. When the envious, money-hungry media relentlessly attacks Angelina, It seems to me that he should hold and hug his woman, smile and say he loves her occasionally … and tell the world that the ex-wife thing ended ages ago and that hopefully she finds another nice guy soon. Day by day, Brad is getting better in some ways. He has adopted Angelina’s children and assimilatied Angelina’s sense of adventure and courage to fly around the globe in their own planes. He too has adopted a humanitarian ove for people of all cultures and colors around the world. They are both generous and kind and I think they compliment and are bringing out the best in each other in many ways. God bless the Jolie-Pitts and their Charitable Foundation. I think that their funding and building Homes for the Poor Disaster Victims in New Orleans is wonderful. I would like to see Brad Pitt stand next to Angelina Jolie with his arm around her and give credit to his woman for inspiring him and giving him the balls to do a major humanitarian effort like that. You know that Behind every great man … Better Yet … Next to every great man their is a great woman. Amen!
Both Brad & Jolie are parasites of the world. Jennifer Aniston must be so happy she is no longer with a tool of the media like Brad. Here he was, with one the world’s most beautiful women (WITH A PERSONALITY) in a happy marraige and he got the baby jeebies Now he is stuck with a control freak and 6 kids within only a couple of years!.. 6 kids! 6 kids!! They are having/buying these kids so quick that it most be confusing for Brad to not forget their names on any occasion.!!
Angelina has zero personality, won an oscar for acting yonks ago and has starred in some of the worst films since winning that oscar. Another Halle Berry wannabe. Normally when an actress wins an oscar, she goes on to do more, but no, not Jolie. They both preach about helping all around them, but I don’t see them making any films about the crisis in Darfur, the starving in Rwanda etc etc.. Now they have their very own Tax dodging foundation like all the other stars set up. There is not one foundation anywhere in the world that does exactly what it says on the tin.
The posters above who admire these two parasites are the reason the world is in a mess today. I suggest they view the folllowing documentaries on youtube which will open their eyes to what is really going on in the world. “Deliver us from Evil” an oscar nominated film on how our POPE was pardoned by our PRESIDENT in having to testify in relation to child molestation under his guard… This happened just over a year ago…the above posters need to talk about the real issues. Do you think Jolie/Pitt really care about whats going on in the world. The next one is “Ring of Power” which will inform you why they do what they do and how much money they get from the United Nations to do what they do!
Open your eyes people.
I HOPE THEY WILL FOCUS ON EDUCATING CHILDREN IN AFRICA RATHER THAN GIVING THEM FOOD ONLY. TILL WHEN WILL THEY FEED THEM? THEY SHOULD BE TAKEN TO SCHOOL SO AS TO KNOW HOW TO EARN A LIVING OTHERWISE, ALL T HEIR LIVES THEY WILL REMAIN POOR AND IT WILL BE A CYCLE. CHILDREN IN AFRICA SHOULD SIMPLY Y BE TAKEN THROUGH SCHOOL. THAT’S THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THEM DEPENDING ON AID.
I would like to talk with Jolie, please visit my society websiteand help the people ANJELINA JOLIE
